Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend: “We know we’ve got that final game and things to play for in Dublin, but it’s about us winning. That’s what we’re here for.
“Whatever that means in the championship, we’ll see after the game but it’s about us delivering a winning performance.”
France head coach Fabien Galthie: “Scotland is an opponent we know well, one we play every year (in the Six Nations) and in World Cup warm-up matches for some time now.
“We know that defeat is possible. It’s already happened to us there, in 2020 for example (a 28-17 loss on March 8). The players know what to expect on Saturday.”
Italy head coach Gonzalo Quesada: “We have confidence in this squad who are already ultra, ultra focussed on what awaits them against England, which will be a very, very difficult match.”
England head coach Steve Borthwick: “The huge positive is that I think it’s going to be an exciting playing environment this weekend. I’m looking forward to seeing them go.
“We have Alex Mitchell and Ollie Lawrence unavailable, with Alex Mitchell unfortunately unavailable for the remainder of the tournament. I said right from the start of the tournament that Tom Roebuck would need another week or two in training.
“That wasn’t to be the case given Immanuel Feyi-Waboso’s injury at the start of the tournament. Tom has used that training opportunity super well.”
