Perhaps the bottle should come with s +5 HP sticker!
Is Techron formula only from Chevron or is it just a Brand name for an additive that is other companies fuel ?

Techron is the trade name for PEA, which is really the additive that does the heavy lifting.

So you get more torque and horsepower from a GRM sticker.
Techron as mentioned is made by Chevron. They also make additives that are sold to other oil companies. Some 30 years ago I worked for an oil company some may remember, Amoco Oil Com. I handled the delivery of bulk gasoline fuel additives purchased from Chevron to our fuel terminals. IMO they make the best additive in Techron that is sold at your local auto parts store.

To add to this, I worked for a summer at Chevron Research doing testing for additives, especially Techron. It’s a specific Chevron product.
