The men’s semifinals were completed on Friday. Jiri Lehecka, 24, advanced to his first-ever ATP Masters 1000 final with a straight sets win over Arthur Fils. Jannik Sinner, the 2024 Miami Open champion, moved closer to a second title here with a win over Alexander Zverev. Sinner is one win away from the “Sunshine Double” after capturing the Indian Wells title, and has yet to lose a set in 11 matches this month.
The women’s final between Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka is set for Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Gauff, a Delray Beach native, is seeking her first Miami title while defending champion Sabalenka is riding an 11-match win streak here. They are tied 6-6 in career meetings. Like Sinner, Sabalenka is one match away from the “Sunshine Double.”
Also on Saturday, the men’s doubles final will be played at 12:30 pm ahead of the women’s singles final. On Sunday, the men’s singles final between Jannik Sinner and Jiri Lehecka will be at 3:00 pm. Sinner has won all three previous meetings against Lehecka.
