The drawn-out affair ended with everyone getting a turn with the clippers on The Death Riders’ star’s head. However, they didn’t finish the job before moving to a commercial break. Wheeler Yuta hasn’t been on AEW television since his head got shaved. However, there’s been a sighting! Wheeler Yuta appears bald and all in Philadelphia during the Labor of Love Love/Hate event. Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta Defeat The Outfielders
LOL Wrestling held their Love/Hate show in Philadelphia on February 20, 2026. This independent card saw the likes of 40-year wrestling veteran Mr. Ooh La La defeating Dr. Ethan Wilde and Cheeseburger getting the W over Leon Ruff
However, one match definitely got the crowd talking. Just days after losing his hair against Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy, Wheeler Yuta appears bald in public!
Wheeler Yuta reunited with Marina Shafir, his stablemate in The Death Riders. While the two were on the losing end of the Hair vs. Hair Mixed Tag Team Match, Jon Moxley’s proteges got the victory over their opponents. Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta defeated The Outfielders, Shea McCoy and Weber Hatfield.
Wheeler Yuta Appears Bald for First Time in Public
It doesn’t come as a shock that the experienced Death Riders would get the win. However, Wheeler Yuta’s appearance shocked many.
The former AEW Trios Champion had a freshly buzzed head. However, he was still rocking the long, stringy beard.
In fact, Dark Order’s John Silver chimed in on the uncanny resemblance:
Nonetheless, it’s shocking that Wheeler Yuta’s first appearance with a shaved head wasn’t on AEW TV. That said, many expect Mox’s youngboy to return soon, as there seems to be a budding rivalry between the two on the horizon.
Will The Death Riders Implode?
Ever since losing the AEW Title, Jon Moxley fell on his luck. After a losing streak, Jon Moxley rebounded with the Continental Title. This victory seemingly brought a change of heart for the former AEW World Champion.
Mox spent a year keeping the AEW Title in a bag. Now, he is proudly displaying the Continental Title.
While Jon Moxley’s behavior might be softening, some of his Death Rider cohorts are a bit slower to make the turn. Case in point, Wheeler Yuta tried to bounce after he lost his hair in the Mixed Tag Team Match. However, Jon Moxley forced Wheeler to honor his commitment and proceeded with the humiliation ritual at the hands of the Conglomeration members.
Wheeler Yuta joined The Death Riders to earn an edge. Now that he has it, many expect the pupil to lash out at the teacher. Rumor has it that Wheeler Yuta might defeat Jon Moxley for the Continental Title.
