What’s the Broadcast Team for Falcons vs Rams Game on Week 17 MNF?

The usual duo of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be in the broadcast booth when the Falcons take on the Rams for a Week 17 MNF clash. Buck will handle the play-by-play duties, while Aikman serves as the analyst. They will have a pair of sideline reporters, Laura Rutledge and Lisa Salters, to provide an inside look at both teams, including injury updates and perspectives on the game. Russell Yurk will also be on hand as their NFL rules analyst.

Buck and Aikman have been long-time broadcast partners, working together since 2002 when they signed with Fox. This makes them the NFL broadcast team with the most experience together across all networks. They made the transition to ESPN in 2022 to take over as the weekly Monday Night Football team. They are also simulcast on ABC and can be accessed on the ESPN+ app.

They sometimes have to compete against the ManningCast, which is simulcast on ESPN2 for select MNF games, but this will not be the case this week. Eli and Peyton Manning have this week off, but will return for a special Saturday night ESPN game next week. Buck and Aikman will also handle their usual duties for that game, as well, since Week 18 doesn’t have a game on Monday night.

They will also get the opportunity to broadcast a playoff game in the Wild Card Round on a postseason edition of MNF, but before all of this, they will take the fans through an NFC clash between the Falcons and Rams. The Falcons have long been eliminated from the playoff race, and the Rams’ hopes of winning the NFC West were officially ended when the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football.

With the Rams already locked into a Wild Card spot, Matthew Stafford and his incredible individual campaign may be the most intriguing thing to watch in this contest. He is currently the sixth-ranked quarterback in PFSN’s Impact Rankings for this season, and he is also currently the favorite to win the NFL MVP award, which would potentially be the first of his career.
