Sandy Alcantara allowed 1 unearned run over 7 strong innings to help the Marlins double up the Rockies, 2-1.

Alex Freeland homered and doubled as the Dodgers held on against Arizona, 5-4.

Kevin Gausman fanned 11 Sacramento batters over 6 innings, allowing a solo homer and no other hits, to set up the Blue Jays 3-2 win.

Mike Trout once again reached base 4 times, homering along the way, as the Angels powered past the Astros, 6-2.

Michael King pitched 5 solid innings, allowing 1 hit and 1 unearned Detroit run, but the Padres fell 5-2.

Langeliers hit 2 homers, including a dramatic 9th inning game tying shot. But Sacramento’s bullpen dropped the 3-2 final in Toronto.

Luis Severino held the Blue Jays to 3 hits and 2 runs over 5 strong frames but Sacramento lost 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th.

Alek Thomas got on base 3 times and stole a base but the Diamondbacks came up short against the Dodgers, 5-4.
