Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets in Match 3 on March 30 in Guwahati.
It was a comfortable win for RR, who chased down a small target with ease after a strong bowling performance.
CSK Struggle After Early Collapse
Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to bowl first on a rain-affected pitch. His decision worked perfectly from the start.
Chennai Super Kings lost early wickets and were reduced to 41 for 4 in the powerplay. Ruturaj Gaikwad and debutant Sanju Samson were dismissed cheaply.

Ayush Mhatre fell for a duck, while RR bowlers kept pressure from both ends. CSK never found momentum and kept losing wickets regularly.
Overton Fights Alone for CSK
Jamie Overton was the only bright spot in CSK’s innings. He scored 43 off 36 balls and showed some resistance when others struggled.
He also added a 33-run partnership for the last wicket with Anshul Kamboj, helping CSK reach 127 in 19.4 overs.
Ravindra Jadeja also made an impact earlier with the ball, picking two wickets in his first over against his former team.
15-Year-Old Sooryavanshi Seals the Game Early
Chasing 128, Rajasthan Royals made things look very easy. The big moment came from 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
The young batter smashed a 15-ball half-century, scoring 52 off just 17 balls. His innings quickly took the game away from CSK.
It was one of the fastest fifties in IPL history and a special knock under pressure.
Easy Finish for Rajasthan Royals
After the quick start, Yashasvi Jaiswal stayed calm and guided the chase with an unbeaten 38 off 36 balls.
Captain Riyan Parag finished the match with a single in the 13th over as RR reached 128 for 2 in just 12.1 overs.
Nandre Burger was named Player of the Match for his early spell of 2 for 26, which set up the win.
Rajasthan Royals now look strong early in IPL 2026, while CSK will look to improve in their next match.
