Liverpool will play against Brighton in the Premier League at the American Express Stadium for the 31st matchweek.
Liverpool is winless in their last two Premier League matches, following a loss to Wolves and a draw with Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool will look to replicate their performance against Galatasaray in the Champions League Round of 16, but the Reds will be without Mohamed Salah.
Salah is not part of the Liverpool starting XI nor on the bench for Liverpool against Brighton today.
The Egyptian star scored a goal and provided an assist in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Galatasaray at Anfield, but Salah did not play the full game as he was taken off in the 74th minute.

Arne Slot on Mohamed Salah Injury
Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed that Mohamed Salah is injured and is the reason why he is not included in the squad.
Slot confirmed that Salah will also miss the upcoming international break with Egypt, who will have friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Spain next week to prepare for the 2026 World Cup.
Slot said, “He is not available. The good thing for Liverpool is [that] we go into an international break, bad news for Egypt, he can’t go there. We hope, with what Mo has shown in the past, he can recover faster than other players. He takes such good care of his body – he can be back earlier than others, as history has shown. Only two weeks until we go again.”
