India will face Sri Lanka in the last one-day international (ODI) of the current series at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday, August 7. The Indian team has not won any matches in this series, drawing the first ODI and losing the second one. India’s defeat in the second ODI marked their first loss to Sri Lanka in three years. The Indian team last lost an ODI to Sri Lanka in July 2021. India hasn’t lost a one-day international series to Sri Lanka in 27 years. Their last defeat against Sri Lanka was in 1997. Since then, the Indian team has won 11 one-day series against Sri Lanka. They are now aiming to prevent Sri Lanka from achieving a significant series win.
