Williams have recently revealed that they will run a one-off livery during pre-season testing, and the Grove-based outfit has now shared some details about the fan-voted colour scheme for the Bahrain running.

Just days after the season-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Williams revealed its plans that it will run a different lovery to what it will use across the 24 race weekends in 2026.

The confirmation succeeded the announcement from early December when the British outfit revealed that it would let its fans vote about a one-off livery for the pre-season testing.

The winner of the vote was the colour scheme that is referred to as ‘Flow State livery’. In total, six striking and unique designs were put to a fan poll, and fans from 162 countries contributed to 54,718 total votes.

Williams revealed that the Flow State livery took almost a third of fans’ vote. According to the British squad, the design ‘celebrates the speed and science of the world’s most technologically-advanced sport,” while the Navy Blue speed lines adorn a pure white background, evoking the hundreds of hours of aerodynamic testing that have gone into developing the team’s all-new car.”

The Grove-based outfit explained that the name ‘Flow State’ ‘is a nod to the state of high-intensity mental focus our drivers adopt to get every millisecond of performance from the car.’

Williams will run its Flow State design on the FW48 for the first test in Barcelona in January where the 11 F1 teams will complete their shakedown test behind closed doors.

“Thank you to all our incredible Atlassian Williams Racing fans around the world who had their say on how we should enter this new era for Formula 1.

“Flow State is a worthy winner and we are excited to carry the fans together with us when we hit the track for the first time. There is a lot to look forward to in 2026 and this is just the start,” said team boss James Vowles.
