Arshdeep, who lost out to Yash Dayal in the race to the Test squad as the preferred choice as the left-arm seamer, did well as he always bowled a good length to the top order right-handers from whom he was able to get the ball to move away.

Ricky Bhui (119), who began the day on a different front, made sure to stars his second ton of the tournament and remained not out though having faced only 125 balls. He embedded 15 fours and three sixes in the process.

Earlier in the day, India D added another 61 runs to their total in 14.3 overs of batting as Bhui scored his second consecutive hundred.

With scores of 56 and 119, the former captain of India U-19 cricket team was awarded the Player of the Match award.
