The World Esports Summit 2025, organised by the International
Esports Federation (IESF), has successfully concluded its milestone 10th edition, reaffirming its role as a
cornerstone event for World of Esports development and international cooperation.
Guided by the theme “Shaping the World of Esports”, the 2025 Summit brought together federations,
publishers, international sports bodies, technology leaders, and integrity organizations to align on the
future of esports as a structured, credible, and globally unified discipline.
This anniversary edition featured a strong and diverse lineup of speakers, reflecting IESF’s commitment
to cross-sector collaboration. Key contributions came from Gustavo Arellano (FIBA), Eric Stranne (FIA),
Ray Ng (Moonton), James Yang (Tencent), Valentin Capelli (WADA), Junghwan Han (KADA), Dipesh
Makwana (Alibaba Cloud), Tomica Madjercic (Sportradar), and Ivan Dimitrijevic (EXPO 2027 Belgrade),
alongside senior esports representatives from worldwide.
Discussions throughout the Summit addressed key pillars of IESF’s mission, including governance and
federation development, competitive integrity and anti-doping frameworks, technological innovation,
and sustainable ecosystem growth. The focus on diplomacy and cooperation highlighted esports’
growing alignment with international sports standards and global institutions.
As the World Esports Summit marks its 10th edition, IESF once again demonstrated its leadership in
bringing the world esports community together, bridging regions, aligning stakeholders, and setting
shared priorities for the years ahead.
With record participation, high-level dialogue, and clear strategic direction, World Esports Summit 2025
stands as a defining moment in IESF’s ongoing effort to shape the future of esports through unity,
