Check out our latest WWE rumor roundup below…

  • Self Made Pro has claimed that the original plans for WrestleMania 42 were Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker and Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk. Reigns, however, wanted another match with the American Nightmare, hence the change.

  • Unsurprisingly, Reigns vs. Seth Rollins was originally set for the Show of Shows before the latter’s injury. The idea from there had been for The Vision to turn on Rollins after WrestleMania

  • Love or hate him, we can “expect to see more” of comedian Andrew Schulz “in WWE programming moving forward,” according to @WrestleVotes

  • Fightful Select has confirmed that AJ Lee was never expected to work a full-time schedule for her WWE return, and will continue to appear sporadically in the weeks and months ahead.

  • After being sidelined with an injury, Jacob Fatu is now thought to be close to returning, based on the latest update from PWInsider.com.
  • F4WOnline has added to that by explaining he was supposed to be part of the WarGames match at Survivor Series, only for plans to change (which led to an acceleration of Cody Rhodes’ feud with Drew McIntyre).

  • A recent @WrestleVotes report revealed that there was some creative contention backstage about the entrance order for the men’s WarGames match, leading to multiple possibilities being hashed out beforehand.
  • PWInsider.com states that Liv Morgan wasn’t expected to be cleared until early 2026, but worked hard to return and made it back in time for Survivor Series: WarGames, as a result.
  • Bryan Alvarez has heard that next year’s edition of the PLE will also be a stadium show.
  • Did you catch the viral footage of Paul Heyman shoving a kid out of his way while exiting Survivor Series: WarGamesFightful Select says that there’s no backstage heat on the WWE Hall of Famer; instead, questions are being asked about how security allowed the boy to get so close in the first place.

  • In the latest edition of The Pat McAfee Show, WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that Pat McAfee is likely to make his WWE return sometime after college football season ends in January.

  • Wrestling Observer Live saw Alvarez reveal that one of Santos Escobar’s requests when he signed a new WWE deal was to sit down with Triple H to figure out his creative, suggesting he’ll get a push when he returns to television.
