Selekhmeteva is 69-30 lifetime on a hardcourt, while Ostapenko is 146-130. Selekhmeteva is 6-3 in 2026, but Ostapenko has had a rough start, going 1-3.
Best Bet to Make
Ostapenko is the better player when it comes to the World rankings, but I think Selekhmeteva is poised to win this one. She’s playing better this year, and she seems to be a better player on hardcourt when she plays. There’s also the slight matter of Selekhmeteva winning two tournaments last year while Ostapenko only had the one. At 2.3 on bet365, Selekhmetva is too good to pass up.
That being said, Selekhmeteva winning is a value bet for sure.
