2K just dropped the first official gameplay trailer for WWE 2K26, and it came during one of the hottest moments of the year—Royal Rumble: Riyadh.
The trailer showcased in-game footage for the first time, featuring top names like CM Punk, El Grande Americano, Stephanie Vaquer, and IYO SKY. Fans also got a glimpse of both new and returning match types, including Inferno and Dumpster Matches, confirming a blend of nostalgia and modern chaos in this year’s gameplay lineup.
This new reveal follows a week of teasers and information leaks, all leading to the game’s full release on March 13, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. As previously announced:
- CM Punk headlines this year’s Showcase Mode, putting players in control of his most iconic and controversial WWE moments.
- Joe Hendry is the pre-order bonus character for the Standard Edition.
- The game boasts the largest roster in franchise history, featuring over 400 playable wrestlers across generations.
There are also three premium editions of WWE 2K26 releasing early on March 6:
- King of Kings Edition
- Attitude Era Edition
- Monday Night War Edition
