WWE SummerSlam 2024 will always be remembered as the sight of the implosion of one of the most dominant factions in history, The Judgment Day. The show saw Dominik Mysterio betray his Mami, Rhea Ripley and sided with Liv Morgan.
On the other hand, Finn Balor turned on Damian Priest to cost him his World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther. With Priest and Ripley on one side and the remaining members of Judgment Day on the other, including Liv Morgan, a major match has been announced for WWE’s upcoming PLE, Bash in Berlin.
Which match was made official for WWE Bash in Berlin?
On the August 12 episode of RAW, Rhea Ripley got in a verbal back and forth with Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, as Dom explained his betrayal at SummerSlam. The couple stood atop the attendance area and were confronted by Damian Priest, who proceeded to attack Dominik, while Mami gave Morgan a chase backstage.
Following Priest’s victory over Carlito later on, the Judgment Day members, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, tried to attack Priest and Ripley, only to be overpowered by the terror twins. As the night came to a close, a mixed tag team match pitting the team of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan was made official for the WWE Bash in Berlin.
WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelly caught up with Priest and Ripley, asking for their reaction to the match made for Bash in Berlin.
“Brutality. That’s my initial reaction, Cathy,” Rhea said
Damien Priest continued: “Two weeks in a row, this ‘Judgment Lame’ tried to take us out and they couldn’t. Now, what do you think’s gonna happen, two on two?”
