WWE’s next premium live event is Elimination Chamber, which is set to take place on February 28 in Chicago, IL.
Following last night’s Friday Night Smackdown, the card is slowly is taking shape with two more wrestlers qualifying for each of the men’s and women’s matches while two more qualifying bouts were announced to take place next week.
On the men’s side, Cody Rhodes turned aside the challenge from both Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn despite more interference from Drew McIntyre. Rhodes joins Randy Orton and LA Knight to comprise three of the six competitors who will be in the match.
The women saw Alexa Bliss emerge victorious over Zelina and Giulia. She is now in the Elimination Chamber match alongside Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratton with half the contestants still to be determined.
Next week, two more wrestlers on both the men’s and women’s side will be determined as qualifying matches continue on both Raw and Smackdown. On Raw, Asuka takes on Nattie and Bayley while Dominik Mysterio battles Gunther and Je’Von Evans. On Friday’s Smackdown, Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams and Damien Priest will tussle while Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair and Kiana James face off.
