Big changes are underway at WWE EVOLVE after Stevie Turner’s sudden departure, and now we know who’s stepping up to take the reins.
Back in October 2025, Turner shocked fans by announcing that her time with WWE had come to an end. She had been playing a major role as the on-screen General Manager of EVOLVE, guiding the developmental brand alongside NXT GM Ava. But now, just months after her exit, WWE EVOLVE has found its new leader.
Sources revealed to BodySlam.net on February 21, 2025, that Timothy Thatcher will be taking over as the new GM of WWE EVOLVE.
“Changes are coming to WWE EVOLVE. One of the changes is the authority figure. Sources indicate to Bodyslam that Timothy Thatcher is going to be the new GM for WWE EVOLVE moving forward. Thatcher has been working with WWE with the WWE ID program and now he will get an official role on TV as well.”
This marks a major pivot for the brand. Thatcher, a seasoned technical wrestler with a history in NXT, is now stepping into an official on-screen role after his work behind the scenes with WWE’s ID program.
With EVOLVE still building its identity as a developmental show, WWE clearly wants Thatcher’s hard-hitting, no-nonsense approach to lead the way. It’s a big shake-up that’s sure to shift the dynamic of the brand.
