WWE has announced the details of their coming up NXT special, New Year’s Evil with the show being held on the first Tuesday of the year, January 6. It will air as usual during NXTs normal time slot on CW.
Both the NXT men’s and women’s titles will be on the line and the matches were more or less finalized at last night’s Deadline PLE.
Oba Femi defeated Ricky Saints to become the new NXT champion while in the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match, Je’Von Evans was victorious and thus will now move on to face Femi at New Year’s Evil.
On the women’s side, Kendal Grey won the Iron Survivor Challenge match and will face Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s championship at New Year’s Evil.
