After the Wrestling Observer released its Year-End Awards showing Booker T receiving 516 votes in the category — far ahead of Pat McAfee, Michael Cole, Vic Joseph, and Tony Schiavone — social media lit up with fans defending the WWE Hall of Famer.
Now Roberts has made it clear where he stands. Taking to Twitter/X, Roberts reacted strongly to the results and praised Booker’s style behind the desk.
“This is insane. Book is pure emotion. Feelings. Vibes. There’s a list of NXT stars who came to the main roster with crowd response that had been guided by Booker T’s NXT commentary. Wrestling = Feelings. That’s Booker T.”
Roberts didn’t just dismiss the vote — he argued that Booker’s commentary actively shapes how fans connect with NXT talent before they even reach the main roster. In his view, Booker’s emotional reactions and energy aren’t flaws — they’re the point.
