WWE Raw preview: Bron Breakker isn’t ready

Raw airs today (Jan. 12) with a live show from PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany. This is the seventh episode of Raw during the nine week build to Royal Rumble, which takes place on January 31 in Saudi Arabia. Raw has a special start time of 2 pm ET on Netflix.

Bron Breakker isn’t ready

Bron Breakker talked a ton of trash at World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in the weeks leading up to their title match on the first Raw of 2026. Bron was extremely confident that he was going to whoop the old man’s ass and take his championship, proving that he is ready to be the face of WWE today. But even though Breakker had major advantages in age and athleticism, he was ultimately knocked out by the GTS and pinned.

The rest of The Vision tried to help Bron win, but they were neutralized by Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta. As a result, one of the matches announced for today’s Raw is Dragon & Penta vs. Bronson Reed & Austin Theory. There’s a rumor that LA Knight is in Germany, so perhaps this is where the megastar returns to get revenge on The Vision for injuring him last month.

Punk and Breakker will definitely be in the building, at the very least, so we should find out their reactions to last week’s high stakes main event. Will Bron make excuses for his failure? Will he be enraged and try to beat the shit out of Penta, Mysterio, Lee, and maybe even Punk? Will he face facts and accept that last week’s result means he just isn’t ready yet to be the face of WWE? Does Bron get right back to the mission at hand for another shot at Punk by declaring for the Royal Rumble match?

Tune into Raw to see if WWE tries to make Bron look really strong one week after he was pinned in the main event by CM Punk.

AJ Styles vs. GUNTHER is scheduled for today’s Raw, following their face-to-face confrontation last week where the Ring General stood there like a little bitch and did nothing after AJ slapped him. Will GUNTHER make AJ pay by forcing the Phenomenal One to tap out in Germany?

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley kick off today’s broadcast. What do they have to say after defeating Asuka and Kairi Sane for the gold last week? Will the Kabuki Warriors and every other team that thinks they deserve the next title shot end up crashing RHIYO’s celebration?

We will also hear from Raquel Rodriguez, who brutally attacked Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer last week. Is there an update on Vaquer’s status? Will Rodriguez demand another title match before Royal Rumble?

Other stuff to keep an eye on
