WWE sets sail for London as potential next WrestleMania destination; find all the details here

As per the latest reports, after the 2025 WrestleMania which is slated to be held in Las Vegas, WWE is planning to find newer cities for the Showcase of Immortals and apparently, London is where they have set their sights. England has been the next center of attraction for the Stamford-based company and as per the reports, WWE’s chief content officer, Triple H, had a discussion with the London Mayor, Sadiq Khan.

In the latest press release issued by the London government, the mayor of London Sadiq Khan rendezvous with WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, figuring out how Rum-ville can become the next epicenter of the greatest sporting entertainment events of all time.

“London has great pedigree in hosting the biggest international sporting events from around the globe – and I’m determined to cement our city’s reputation as the undisputed sports capital of the world, as we work together for a better London for everyone. It’s exciting to be working with the WWE team. The meeting was really productive, and talks will continue about how we could turn our ambition into a reality”, Sadiq Khan said in the press release.

Here is what Nick Khan had to say about WWE and its love story with London

Triple H pointed out that WWE has an old love story with London and the city has hosted quite a few remarkable PLE’s over the years. The 1992 SummerSlam witnessed Wembley Stadium emerging as the host and the fans were absolutely delighted to witness their favourite wrestlers first hand. Recently, WWE has been trysting heavily with UK as NXT has had quite a few shows there while the last edition of the Clash at the Castle saw Drew McIntyre headline the event.

WWE President, Nick Khan pointed out that definitely further talks were needed but at this point in time, it all looks very promising. Nick said, “Sadiq Khan and his team are working hard on positioning London as a sport and entertainment capital of Europe, and it has been great to hear more on his vision for how WWE can support them on that journey.”
