WWE SMACKDOWN Results: February 20, 2026

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown (February 20, 2026) emanates out of the FLA Live Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will air at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.

This post here will be updated frequently throughout the night to reflect live coverage of Friday Night SmackDown, including all the match results, rundowns of the promos, and any other interesting or noteworthy things that take place. Keep refreshing for updates to find out all the winners and more!

Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:

On tap for tonight’s episode, two more Triple Threat matches will determine a spot to qualify in the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches, with Charlotte Flair, Kiana James, and Nia Jax in one while the other is contested between Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, and Damian Priest. Given the lineups, I feel like James is the obvious person to take the pinfall—likely on behalf of Flair, who remains one of the top potential options to face Jade Cargill since Bianca Belair doesn’t appear to be ready to return from her injuries any time soon—and I would say Williams probably has the edge in the men’s match. That one is more difficult to predict, as Hayes shouldn’t be taking a loss as United States champion, but I could see The Miz interfering to cost him and Trick being able to snatch a victory in that fashion. Priest can likely be ruled out, as he flat out stated he’s leaving Drew McIntyre to other people, for some reason, which felt like WWE sidelining him in character.

Kit Wilson will also be up against Oba Femi in what will surely be a squash match. How toxic. But will we find out if Femi has signed to SmackDown, or will that continue to be left ambiguous until they figure out a better plan of what to do with him?

Surely, we’ll see some opening promo segment lead to a tag team match, as that crutch has kept both Raw and SmackDown on repeat mode for years, so since nothing’s announced yet for big names like Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu, Sami Zayn and so forth, it will likely involve at least one of those parties.

All that and more will go down tonight, so keep checking and refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Here are your results for WWE SmackDown – February 20, 2026:

  • Cody Rhodes kicked off the show with a promo that was interrupted by Jacob Fatu, who said he had the Elimination Chamber qualifier won last week if it hadn’t been for Drew McIntyre. Nick Aldis apparently gave McIntyre the night off, but the champion popped up in a suite, saying he paid for that just to watch the show, goading Fatu to come fight him. Aldis and security held back Fatu with the threat of a suspension.
  • Tama Tonga defeated Ilja Dragunov by pinfall. After the match, there was some more fighting with Dragunov, Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews until Uncle Howdy appeared on the TitanTron to basically threaten that he’s going after Solo Sikoa solo instead of the whole MFTs.
  • A backstage interview with Randy Orton was interrupted essentially immediately by Aleister Black and Zelina, who antagonized him into a match for later.
  • Jade Cargill cut a promo in the ring about how if it’s Liv Morgan or any Elimination Chamber winner, she’ll beat them at WrestleMania. This led to a stare down confrontation with Charlotte Flair during Flair’s entrance for her qualifier.
  • Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Kiana James defeated Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax
  • Kit Wilson was squashed by Oba Femi after trying to read him a poem to convince him to not beat him up.
  • Talking to Nick Aldis, R-Truth thinks the crate has an award in it, running down his Slammy Awards wins, but says he doesn’t know what a Slammy is. Damian Priest then approached and talked about the qualifier.
  • Tiffany Stratton defeated Alba Fyre by pinfall.
  • Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes argued backstage over the result from last week’s Elimination Chamber qualifier, ultimately getting back on the same page again of respect after blowing off some steam.
  • Triple Threat Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Trick Williams defeated Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest
  • In a backstage segment, as people were gathered around the mysterious crate, Candice LeRae and Jordynne Grace got booked into a match for next week.
  • Also backstage, B-Fab and Michin are back, but they just threatened Jade Cargill without actually doing anything to her and said that they have other people in front of them in the line for a title shot.
  • Rhea Ripley defeated Giulia by disqualification due to interference from Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Iyo Sky made the save after the match.
  • The Miz wants to show Oba Femi the ropes, so Femi said he’ll talk to Aldis about having a match next week, which Miz is now trying to back out of.
  • Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair had a backstage squabble with Giulia and Kiana James in the locker room.
  • Shinsuke Nakamura also had a moment with Tama Tonga in the men’s locker room, saying that Tonga is always in someone else’s shadow and being held back, challenging him to leave the family tree in the forest and wrestle singles match.
  • Aleister Black defeated Randy Orton by pinfall. Drew McIntyre interfered and hit Orton in the head with the WWE Championship belt before Cody Rhodes ran him off.
