WWE SmackDown Results (2/27/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with commentary welcoming us as we see Jey Uso being put into an ambulance while many people yell about stuff. Jimmy then says he will find out who did it. Cody then asks Nick what is happening. Trick Williams then shows up and says better him than me. He then says one down, four to go. Je’Von then asks Trick if he is the one who put him in the ambulance. Trick then tells Evans to let the adults talk. Drew. then comes through the crowd and he says he didn’t have anything to do with Jey, but it was funny. He then says he tells the truth all the time, but he is guilty until proven innocent. Drew then says he has to buy a suite every week because he is an outlaw in his own company. He then says he just wants to shed the competition in the Elimination Chamber. He then says is that too much. He then says he can do what he wants when he wants so he does.
Nick Aldis then tells Drew he told him not to get involved. He then tells Drew to go to his office because there are twenty guys who want to rip him apart and he is ready to tell him to do for him. Drew then says there are six, five men challenging him for the title. Cody Rhodes then comes out and he tells Drew let’s fight right now. Drew then asks the crowd if they want him to fight. Drew then says no because how would that benefit him. Drew then says he isn’t a troublemaker and he will not break the rules and he is going to leave. Cody then says Drew has spent his title reign running like a little b***h. Drew then stops walking.
Cody then says no rematch. He then says after tomorrow. Randy Orton then comes out and says what happened to Jey sucks and he feels bad for him. Randy then says his only concern is winning the Elimination Chamber tomorrow and becoming a 15-time champion. Randy then tells Cody as far as they go. Trick Williams then interrupts and comes out. He says he hates to do this, but you gotta understand that he is the hottest thing in the business. He then says that is why Bruno Mars shouted him out. He then says as for tonight, he is looking in the ring and sees them. He then says since they are in Louisville, he can add something to the menu. He then says he can add some flavor to the menu. Je’Von Evans then interrupts and he walks past Trick into the ring.
Evans then says let’s talk crazy. He says they have history, but he is going to win at Elimination Chamber and beat Randy’s record for youngest World Champion. He then says we need the final healthy member in the match and LA Knight interrupts and makes his way down to the ring. Knight says he wants to talk and he hears a lot of empty promises. He then says they have 24 hours to Elimination Chamber and they all belong to him. He then says Drew when it comes to you and me at WrestleMania, the title belongs to him. We then get a catchphrase off between Trick and Knight when Trick jumps in. Knight then punches Trick and he is pulled to the floor by Trick. They then exchange punches as they go to the back. Cody, Randy and Evans then stand in the ring and Randy hits Evans with an RKO. Randy then looks at Cody and Randy leaves the ring with Cody looking over his shoulder.
We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley says Jey Uso’s spot in the Elimination Chamber is in jeopardy. Cathy then says she is trying to get more information on Jey Uso. Tiffany Stratton then walks up to her. Cathy asks if that changes her and the Chamber. Tiffany says it sucks, but she is not going to let anyone take her out of the match to get her title back. Asuka then shows up and she says Tiffy Time is over. Asuka then says tomorrow no one is ready for her. Tiffany then asks Asuka if she wants to prove it tonight. Kairi then asks Tiffany if she is jealous and Asuka yells her away.
We then see the Superstar arrivals of the night while commentary runs down the lineup for tonight’s show, including a focus on Oba Femi taking on The Miz.
Solo Sikoa then makes his way down to the ring holding on to the Wyatt Sicks lantern for the first match of the night. We then get a tease of the Wyatt Sicks. Back at ringside, we get a look back at last week and the message Uncle Howdy delivered to the MFT ahead of tonight’s match. The lights then cut out for the entrance of Uncle Howdy, who makes his way down to the ring alone. He then enters the ring to get this match underway.
Singles Match: The Wyatt Sicks’ Uncle Howdy vs. MFT’s WWE Tag Team Champion Solo Sikoa
The match starts off with Solo pointing to the lantern and he has some words for Howdy. They then lock up and Howdy backs Solo into the corner and gives a clean break. Solo then pushes Howdy. They then lock up again and Solo applies a side head lock. Solo then hits a shoulder tackle, but Howdy does not go down. Solo then hits a punch and Howdy punches back. They then go back and forth. Solo then hits a head butt. Howdy then hits a flying back elbow and he sets up for Sister Abigail, but Solo escapes and goes to the floor. Howdy then follows and Solo hits a punch. Solo then goes for the Samoan spike and misses Howdy, but not the ring post. Howdy then sends the arm into the ring post many times and into the ringside barrier.
Howdy then clotheslines Solo over the ringside barrier into the time keeper’s area. Howdy then looks at the lantern before getting Solo and he hits an elbow. Howdy then slams the hand into the announce desk. They then return to the ring and Howdy kicks Solo and sends him into the turnbuckles. Solo then hits a forearm and he sends Howdy face first into the middle turnbuckle. Howdy then rolls to the floor. Solo then sends Howdy into the ringside barrier and he picks up the lantern. Solo then sends Howdy back into the ring and he tries to get some feeling back into his thumb. Solo then hits a chop to Howdy’s head, but he uses the right hand and it causes some damage. Solo then hits some head butts. Solo then applies a nerve hold.
Howdy then gets back to his feet and Solo sends Howdy back to the mat. Solo then returns to the nerve hold. Howdy then hits a jaw breaker, but Solo returns to the nerve hold and hits some head butts. Howdy then hits punches to Solo and Solo hits a Samoan drop for a near fall. Solo then returns to the nerve hold. Howdy then grabs the hand and pulls at the fingers. Solo then hits a head butt and Howdy hits some punches. Howdy then hits some clotheslines in the corner. Solo then hits a uranage and he goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall.
Solo then brings Howdy back up as he looks for a Sister Abigail, but Howdy counters with a Mandible Claw. It doesn’t last long as Solo counters with a spike, forcing Howdy to the corner for a couple hip attacks. On the third attempt, Howdy jumps up and hits a Sister Abigail to take Solo down for the win.

After the match, Howdy leaves the ring to retrieve his lantern, but he is blindsided by the MFT who quickly take it back as they escape through the crowd.
We then head to the back, where we see that Drew McIntyre is escorted out to the parking lot as he is told to stay home tomorrow and stay out of trouble. Nick Aldis is then confronted by The Vision, who try to get Logan Paul into the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match tomorrow. Paul then talks about how much he can easily win the match and become the champion. Aldis then eventually relents enough to consider it, citing “politics” at play as he walks off. Heyman then confirms with Logan that he knows he can win the Chamber Match and Logan walks off before Heyman tells Theory to keep his attitude in check.
Progressive then gives us a look at the rise of RHIYO ahead of their Women’s Tag Team Championship Match against The Irresistible Forces tonight.
We then see Cathy Kelley with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. She asks them about the next few days for them and Rhea’s focus. Rhea says she should be focusing on Elimination Chamber, but she needs to do it one step at a time. She then says they need to defend their titles tonight and she can focus on Elimination Chamber. IYO then says tomorrow Rhea will win and Rhea will be the champion. Jade Cargill then stops by and she tells Rhea that she won’t have anyone to help her tomorrow and she tells her not to get injured.
We then see Nick Aldis on the phone and Jacob Fatu shows up and says all fingers are pointing at Drew. Fatu then says if Nick has a Drew problem, he has a problem with Drew. Fatu then says the solution is to put him in the chamber. Fatu then says he should be a part of that. He then says this is a conversation. He then says he is going to walk into Elimination Chamber, he is going to win and he will walk out of WrestleMania and solve that problem. Nick then says he will take it under advisement.
We then get a Damian Priest NXT Origins video package.
We are then told about Stand & Deliver, which will take place two weeks before WrestleMania 42.
Tiffany Stratton then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre then make their way down to the ring to join the announce desk. Asuka then interrupts her introduction. She says she is smart and she tells us many times. She then says she is resting before the chamber match. She then says Tiffany can face Kairi.
Singles Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. The Kabuki Warriors’ “The Pirate Princess” Kairi Sane
The match starts off with Sane hitting a Thesz press and several punches. Tiffany then goes to the floor and avoids a baseball slide. Tiffany then rolls Sane back in and hits a hesitation springboard senton for a near fall. Tiffany then floats over and Tiffany gets a cartwheel. Sane then hits a head scissors, but Tiffany lands on her feet. Tiffany then avoids a clothesline. Sane then shows some frustration and Tiffany sends Sane into the ropes and hits a splash to the back. Sane then goes to the floor and Tiffany hits a pescado. Tiffany then sends Sane back into the ring and Asuka distracts Tiffany to allow Sane to hit a back first and she sends Tiffany into the ring post.
Sane then sends Tiffany into the turnbuckles and she punches her. Sane then sends Tiffany to the mat and she punches Tiffany. Sane then gets a near fall. Tiffany and Sane then exchange forearms and Sane hits a slingshot head scissors take down for a near fall. Sane then kicks Tiffany. Tiffany then hits an Irish whip and Sane hits a kick. She then goes to the turnbuckles and she applies a head scissors in the ropes. Sane then chokes Tiffany in the ropes. Asuka then hits some punches when the referee deals with Sane. Sane then hits some punches to Tiffany. Sane then applies a straitjacket choke. Tiffany then hits a snap mare and Sane hits a drop kick and both women are down. Tiffany then hits some forearms and clotheslines.
Tiffany then hits a handspring back elbow and she does a cartwheel into an Alabama Slam for a near fall. Tiffany then hits a Finlay Slam, but she is crotched by Sane on a Prettiest Moonsault Ever set up. Sane then puts Tiffany in the tree of woe and Sane hits some punches and head butts. Sane then hits a double stomp. Sane then gets a near fall. Sane then hits a Sliding D and Sane goes up top and misses a forearm. Sane then hits a sunset flip to counter the Alabama Slam, but Tiffany rolls through and drop kicks Sane for a near fall.
Sane then kicks Tiffany from the apron and she sets up for a fisherman’s buster onto the apron, but Tiffany counters with a suplex attempt. Sane then hits a DDT on the apron. Sane then goes up top and hits a forearm for a near fall. Sane then goes up top, but Tiffany pushes Sane off the turnbuckles into Alba. Green then wheels over to Tiffany and yells at her. Green then hops and Sane goes for a forearm on Tiffany, but Tiffany moves and Sane hits Green. Tiffany then hits a Finlay Slam and a Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.

We then see Nick Aldis entering his office and he sees Austin, Logan and Heyman in there. Nick says he talked with Adam Pearce and Logan will have an opportunity to compete in the Elimination Chamber. Heyman then says he wants to know what is the catch. Nick then says Logan has to beat Jacob Fatu to get into the Elimination Chamber. Logan then stops Heyman and he tells Nick what he has done. He then says he can beat WWE’s most dangerous werewolf.
The Miz then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Oba Femi follows.
Singles Match: “The Ruler” Oba Femi vs. The Miz
The match starts off with The Miz trying to convince the referee not to start the match and he goes to the floor. He then tells Oba they don’t have to fight. Oba then takes the mic and he tells Miz to get his own. Miz then says nobody wants this match. Miz then says this is a classic misunderstanding. Miz then says as the locker room leader, it is on him. Miz then says this is a teaching moment. Miz then says twenty years ago, right down the road, he was in WWE Developmental. Miz then says he was bright eyed and bushy tailed like Oba. Miz then says he didn’t go after the locker room leaders. Miz then says he wants to be the type of leader to take Oba under his wing. Miz then asks Oba if he can be his Undertaker.
Oba then says there is no striking resemblance, but you look like a dead man to him. Miz then says they can utilize the Miz method. Miz then tells Oba not to be a flash in the pan and he can help Oba with all of his connections. Miz then says he can get every crowd to chant Oba’s name and they do it. Oba then says he doesn’t need Miz to get them to chant his name. Oba then asks Louisville if he should join forces with Miz. He then says they can become the Awesome Rulers. Oba then tells Miz he is dying for a shot.
Miz then says they can use this as a teaching moment. Miz then says he will teach the lesson of being the bigger man and walking away. Miz then tries to punch Oba and Oba hits a clothesline. Oba then sends Miz to the apron and Miz drops Oba on the top rope, but Oba hits a chop when Miz comes off the turnbuckles. Oba then hits a running uppercut, but he misses a second one. Oba then blocks a Skull Crushing Finale. Oba then tosses Miz across the ring and hits a sit out power bomb for the win.

We then see Carmelo Hayes walking in the back and he asks Ilja Dragunov why he isn’t in his gear for their match. Ilja says he isn’t going to fight tonight. Ilja then says he was not successful against Tama last week and he hasn’t won much lately. Ilja then says he does not deserve a match now. Ilja then says he will tell Hayes when he is ready for a match. He then tells Hayes to go out there and show everyone. Hayes then says he doesn’t need a pep talk from Ilja. He then says he needs to give himself a pep talk. He then says if you don’t take this shot, someone else will.
Carmelo Hayes then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Matt Cardona follows.

The match starts off with both men shaking hands before they lock up. Matt then gets a rollup for a near fall. Hayes then hits a snap mare and he gets a near fall. Matt then applies a side head lock and Matt hits a shoulder tackle. Matt then blocks a hip toss, but misses a clothesline. Matt then hits a drop kick for a near fall. Matt then applies a side head lock and he holds on when Hayes tries to send him off the ropes. Hayes then hits a drop kick, but he misses a second one. Matt then hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Matt then hits his forearm against the bridge of the nose. Matt is. then sent to the apron by Hayes and Matt hits a punch and he pulls Hayes onto the apron.
Hayes then hits a back elbow to send Matt to the floor. Hayes then comes off the apron and he hits the announce desk. Matt then hits a side Russian leg sweep into the ringside barrier. They then return to the ring and Matt hits some knees to the midsection and he kicks Hayes. Hayes then hits a chop and Matt hits a flap jack for a near fall. Matt then sends Hayes into the corner and he hits a shoulder. Matt then hits a hard Irish whip. Hayes then hits an Irish whip, but Matt gets his knees up. Matt then hits a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Matt then works on the back and he follows it up with cross faces. Hayes then rolls into the corner.
Matt then hits kicks in the corner and he chokes Hayes. Matt then sets up for the Woo Woo kick and he hits it. Matt then catapults Hayes into the middle rope and Matt gets a near fall. Matt then drops Hayes on the top rope and he hits a knee lift to send Hayes to the floor. Matt then hits a drop kick through the ropes. Matt then hits some forearms from the apron. Hayes then hits a kick and a springboard leg drop. Hayes then gets to his feet and he punches Matt. Hayes then hits some chops and a springboard clothesline. Hayes then has a super kick blocked and Matt hits a kick. Hayes then hits a La Mistica for a near fall. Matt then hits a kick and he sets up for a Tiger Driver. Hayes then escapes. Matt then misses the Woo Woo Boot and Hayes hits a back body drop. Hayes then sets up for First 48, but Matt hits a forearm and some chops. Matt then goes for a Frankensteiner and hits it. We then see that the crate is back in the back and the tag teams wonder what is in there. R-Truth then shows up and he says you need to watch tomorrow to see what is in the box. Truth then says he has a surprise and he tells them how to get into ESPN to watch the PLE. Candice then shows up and she pushes Gargano for her match. Kit Wilson then says Johnny is trying because all of you are toxic.
Candice LeRae then makes her way down to the ring with Johnny Gargano for the next match of the night and Jordynne Grace follows.
Singles Match: “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace vs. Candice LeRae
The match starts off with Jordynne Grace hitting a spinebuster on Candice LeRae. She then hits a series of clotheslines. LeRae is looking to fight back. She then hits a dropkick followed by a senton for a near fall. LeRae then applies a sleeper hold. Both women then go back and forth with pinning combinations. LeRae then hits a jaw breaker. Both women are battling it out on the top rope. Grace then powers LeRae up and hits her with a delayed vertical suplex for a near fall.
LeRae then tries to fight back. Grace then runs into a big boot. She hits a German Suplex. Johnny Gargano then walks out on Candice LeRae. The distraction then allows Grace to hit LeRae with a pumphandle German Suplex for the win.

We then see Cathy Kelley is with Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel says she and Liv being champions means that Judgment Day runs WWE. She then says she is going to focus on what it takes to win. Jade Cargill then tells Raquel she needs to focus on herself. She then says Liv isn’t worried about you. She then says Liv set you up because if you win tomorrow, she will embarrass Raquel at WrestleMania. Michin and B-Fab then show up and Michin says she is coming for Jade. Jade then tells Michin if she is going to do something, do it. B-Fab then tells Michin she will get her chance.
We then take a look at the AJ Styles tribute ceremony from RAW this past Monday night, culminating in the announcement that Styles is joining the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026.
We then see Jacob Fatu in the back and Cody Rhodes stops by. Cody says he hopes it is Fatu in there. Cody then turns and sees Sami standing. Sami then offers his hand and Cody shakes it and walks away. Sami then tells Fatu he knows he has the match and he asks about Jey. Fatu then says it isn’t looking good for Jey. Sami then says he didn’t do it, but he isn’t 100 percent sure about Fatu. Fatu then says he wants to know what Sami means. Sami then says you are there when Jey goes down and he is in an ambulance. Sami then says he is out of the match and the first thing you do it take his spot. Sami then says you have been focused on Drew and you have caused chaos everywhere.
Fatu then tells Sami to be very careful with what you say next. Sami then asks if he will be next to Jey in the hospital. He then says Fatu isn’t the only one who wants Drew. Fatu then says if anyone got screwed it was him. He then says he got Claymored and Cody got Claymored. He then says you were the only one who didn’t get Claymored. He then says it looked like Drew was trying to help you win the match. Fatu then says maybe he should be watching Sami. Sami then apologizes and he says his head hasn’t been screwed on right. He then tells Jacob maybe he deserves a second chance and tells him to win it for Jey. Sami then attacks inanimate objects.

The match starts off with IYO going for a sunset flip, but Lash blocks it. IYO then does some cartwheels and hits a drop kick. Rhea then tags in. Rhea then sends Lash to the mat and Rhea hits a wheelbarrow slam of IYO onto Lash for a near fall. Lash then hits a punch and Nia tags in. Nia then hits an Irish whip and Rhea floats over. Rhea then hits a drop toe hold and IYO hits a drop kick. Rhea then hits a drop kick to Lash after IYO trips Lash. They then kick Lash and Nia to the floor. Nia and Lash then catch rana attempts and swing IYO and Rhea into the ringside barrier. IYO is then sent back into the ring.
Nia then hits a chop and Lash tags in. Lash then hits a forearm in the corner. Lash then picks up IYO and she sends IYO’s ears into the top and middle ropes. She then does it a second time. Nia then sets up for an aNIAlator, but Rhea stops Nia and Rhea hits a super kick to the head against the turnbuckles. Rhea then sets up for a power bomb and hits it for a near fall. Rhea then hits a flying boot to Nia and Nia goes to the floor. Rhea then goes to the apron and she hits a cannonball. They are now back in the ring and Nia blocks an Irish whip. Rhea then tries to float over, but Nia sends Rhea to the floor. Lash then tags in and she hits a splash on the floor. They then return to the ring and Lash works on the leg. Nia then keeps Rhea from making the tag and catches her. Nia then hits a head butt and she knocks IYO off the apron. Nia then sends Rhea to the floor. Lash then tags in and she sends Rhea into the ring post. Nia is then given Rhea by Lash and Nia hits a Samoan drop onto the announce desk followed by a chop. Lash then sends Rhea to the mat face first and she hits a splash for a near fall. Lash then hits a uranage and Nia tags in and hits a leg drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall. IYO then sends Lash over the top rope with a head scissors. Nia then sets up for a hip into the corner and Rhea moves, forcing Nia shoulder first into the ring post. IYO then hits a Shotei and gets a victory roll into a double stomp. IYO then drop kicks Nia into the turnbuckles. IYO then almost sends Lash into Nia, but Nia stops her. Lash then sends IYO to Nia, but IYO hits a DDT. IYO then goes to the apron and she kicks Lash in the head. IYO then goes up top and she hits a missile drop kick. IYO then hits a suicide dive onto Nia. IYO then hits a running double knee strike. IYO then goes up top and she hits the moonsault, but Nia breaks up the cover. Nia then goes for an aNIAlator and she hits it on IYO. Lash then gets the cover, but Rhea pulls Lash from the ring even though her feet were under the ropes on the count. Rhea then gets back on the apron and she drops down to send Nia to the floor. Rhea then tags in and Rhea hits a drop kick to Lash. Nia then grabs Rhea and Rhea hits a head butt. Rhea then hits a RipTide to Nia and Lash hits a Lash Extension for the win.

We then see Charlotte Flair and she says she is fine that Lash and Nia are tag champs, but she is crying and eating ice cream. She then says there isn’t a finer situation than this. Kiana then says what Alexa is doing to show she cares is commendable. Kiana then says they will have all the gold while you can have someone to eat ice cream with. Jade then shows up and she wishes Kiana and Alexa luck.
We then see Nick Aldis is on his phone and Solo wants to know what that was. He then says they want to do something about the Wyatts. Nick then says he saw Solo lose and you jumped them after the match. He then says maybe it is time to do something about you or the titles. He then says next week there will be a #1 contender match.
We then see Cathy Kelley with Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Nia says she is a three time tag champion and Lash won her first WWE title. Lash then says they will celebrate next week on SmackDown. Nia then tells Cathy she is not invited and they leave.
We then get a video package for CM Punk.
We then see Randy Orton walking in the back and Aleister Black and Zelina show up. Black asks if the Black Mass awoke something in Randy. Zelina then asks if it is anger. Randy then says he doesn’t know what is going on in his head, but the voices are talking louder. He then says if you want that anger, it is here. He then says after the chamber, he will find Black. Black then says Randy will because they planned it that way.
It is then announced that WrestleMania 42 will start on Night 1 at 6PM and the first hour will be on ESPN2. It is also announced that Sunday will start at 6PM and the first hour will be on ESPN. The entire shows will air on ESPN Unlimited in the United States.
The Vision then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Jacob Fatu follows.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: The Vision’s “The Maverick” Logan Paul vs. “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu
The match starts off with Theory distracting Fatu and Logan hits some punches and elbows. Fatu then hits a clothesline for two followed by a back senton. Fatu then hits a splash into the corner. Fatu then hits an uppercut followed by some punches. Fatu then sends Logan into the turnbuckles. Fatu then hits a splash into the corner. Fatu then clotheslines Logan over the top rope and to the floor. Fatu then hits a suicide dive. Fatu then continues the attack until Paul breaks free, slamming Fatu onto the ring steps. Fatu is able to regain control as he sends Paul into the barricade, but Paul dodges a hip attack at the last second.
Paul is down as Logan slides into the ring, considering a countout win as he distracts the referee long enough for Theory to get a cheap shot in. Paul then brings Fatu back into the ring for a cover, but only gets a two count. Fatu is back on his feet as he sends Paul into the corner, but Paul fights back. Paul then manages to dodge another charge from Fatu, dropping him to the mat for a near fall. Paul then climbs up top for a Frog Splash, but Fatu rolls out of the way, dropping Paul with a superkick before hitting a moonsault off the ropes for two. Fatu then goes up now, but he is intercepted by Paul, who looks for a superplex. Fatu then blocks it, fighting Paul off.
Knees are now up on a swanton attempt and Paul hits a Blockbuster and a springboard moonsault, but it’s only good for two. Logan then goes for the Paul-verizer and Fatu hits a super kick and a running hip into the corner. Theory then gets on the apron and Fatu kicks him. Heyman then gets on the apron and Fatu grabs him. Logan then hits a low blow and a punch. Logan then hits a frog splash for a near fall. The Masked Man then hits a super kick to Theory and Logan punches him. Logan then pulls off the mask and it is a random person. Referees then escort him to the back. Logan then sets up for the punch, but there is no referee in the ring. Fatu then hits a pop up Samoan drop. Fatu then buffers and he goes for a double jump moonsault, but Drew McIntyre hits Fatu with the title belt and Logan gets the win.
