Fightful Select is reporting that WWE talent have insisted that the recent exchange of tweets between Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill is not part of a storyline, contrary to some reports circulating online.
Sources say there is currently no concern that the two will have an issue working together and will keep things professional despite their real-life dislike for each other.
Dave Meltzer also chimed in on the matter, stating,
“The reality is what was said about Cargill was almost identical to what several other women talent have told me over the past year, really starting after the Shayna Baszler and Cargill confrontation went public.”
“It’s natural with the resentment of her being pushed while not being good in the ring or anything special on promos, but completely due to her unique look.”
“Most of the women believe they are better and didn’t get the same chances, which leads to resentment.”
