WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match Ends In Brutality After DQ Finish During 3/20 SmackDown

WWE is on the road to WrestleMania, so you never know what can happen. We already saw Tag Team Titles change hands during the blue brand this week, so the main event was anyone’s guess.

The March 20 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The night was amazing for the tag team division on both sides of the roster.

The Bella Twins made it very clear that they came back to become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. That came to a head tonight on SmackDown as they faced Nia Jax and Lash Legend for the championships.

This match got the main event of the night, and they received thirty minutes for the contest. Just before they went to their first commercial break, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss made their presence known as they stepped out to take a seat at ringside next to the announce table.

The match kept going, and then Charlotte Flair started teeing off on Nia Jax with forearms as Jax was going to smash Brie Bella with the title belt. The referee called off the match after that, and that led to a beat down as Alexa Bliss and Flair joined the fray.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend took out the other teams, and then they proceeded to squash Charlotte Flair for her trouble. They certainly made a statement, as Legend and Jax left with the gold.
