XXIO 14 & 14+ Irons (Two New 2026 Models Reviewed)

XXIO 14 series irons have been launched with the latest 2026 generation featuring the 14 and 14+ models for the first time.

Launched as part of a full family including the XXIO 14 drivers, fairway woods and hybrids, XXIO break new ground by offering two designs in the series.

While the XXIO 13 irons featured just the one version, the new 2026 successor has the standard 14 for golfers with moderate swing speeds and the additional 14+ aimed at those with slightly faster swings.

XXIO have made improvements to the 14 range with a new ULTiFLEX face and cavity structure, redistributed weight to lower the center of gravity and tweaked the design to a more rounded blade.

Pros & Cons

✅ Extremely lightweight build helps add clubhead speed for slower or aging swings
✅ High launch and strong lofts combine for easy carry distance and good total yardage
✅ Very forgiving on thin and off‑center strikes thanks to VR‑Titanium face and low, deep weighting
✅ The 14+ retains XXIO’s lightweight, easy‑speed DNA but is tuned for 90-100 mph swings
✅ A more compact head, reduced offset and cleaner topline gives the 14+ a more traditional players’ look
❌ Strong lofts and high launch can lead to too much distance gapping for very slow swingers
❌ Larger game‑improvement shape and visible offset may not appeal to better players’ eyes
❌ Very light swingweight can feel whippy or hard to control for stronger or quick‑tempo golfers.

XXIO 14 Irons Specs & Design

The XXIO 14 irons replace the XXIO 13 with some design tweaks and new technologies improving performance and forgiveness in the latest update.

As with previous generations, they are still designed for high launch, maximum distance, stability, consistency, forgiveness and an easy-to-hit feel for moderate swing speed golfers who want high-trajectory shots.

The 14 features a more rounded blade and topline shape than previous versions as well as a slightly goose-neck hosel that helps deliver confidence at address.

The irons feature a new ULTiFLEX Face, which combines a high-strength, lightweight VR-Titanium face with the company’s Rebound Frame and L-Shaped Groove pattern to maximize energy transfer and ball speed.

There is also a new cavity structure with weight redistributed by expanding the heel cavity and slimming the goose neck structure to move mass placement in the sole.

In addition, a high-density tungsten-nickel weight is positioned very low and centered to achieve a lower center of gravity and promote higher launch and better stability.

The XXIO 14 irons are available from 5-iron (22 degrees) to sand wedge (56 degrees).

XXIO 14+ Irons Specs & Design

The XXIO 14+ irons are a new addition to the series and have been designed to target players who like to swing strongly for maximum distance but want a more penetrating ball flight and exceptional feel.

Suited to a slightly faster swing speed than the 14 model, they still provide an excellent balance of stability, control, and power delivery, along with the hallmark XXIO forgiveness.

Visually, the irons are less offset than the 14 and have a cleaner look – a more players’ type profile to appeal to better players who still benefit from lightweight, game-improvement iron technology.

XXIO 14+ Irons

They feature XXIO’s MainFrame technology with tweaked cavity structure with a larger heel cavity and slimmer neck structure. That has allowed more mass to be placed in the sole.

A soft body design featuring high-density tungsten weighting also helps save weight and optimize launch, distance control and stability afforded by the XXIO irons.

The irons also have a new ULTiFLEX lightweight titanium face with an L-Shaped Groove pattern to maximize energy transfer and ball speed.

The XXIO 14+ irons are available from 5-iron (23 degrees) to approach wedge (49 degrees) and are suited to golfers with swing speeds of 90mph+.

XXIO 14 & 14+ Irons Review: Are they any good?

The XXIO 14 irons continue to be an ideal choice for moderate swing speed golfers, but have notably been improved for ease of launch, maximized distance and forgiveness.

New 14+ irons meanwhile add an extra dimension as XXIO’s first model that is designed for golfers who swing more aggressively or want a sharper, cleaner look with minimized offset for workability.

The key feature across both is the new titanium ULTiFLEX face for eyecatching ball speeds and the revised center of gravity thanks to weighting changes.

Both irons excel in forgiveness and launch angles for reliable distance time after time whether used from the fairway, rough or bunkers.
