The Indian team has begun their preparations for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, set to begin from November 22 in Perth. India will enter this series after facing a humiliating defeat to New Zealand at home grounds. A major form of concern for Indian team will be the delicate form of the batters.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul are some of the batters who have not been great in recent times. The pressure will mostly be on the younger players to contribute to the success of the team.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant are going to be the main players for India in this series. Pant had a key role in India’s series win during the previous tour. Jaiswal, on the other hand, has been very consistent for India in Test cricket. However, the Australia tour will be a testament to his skills.
These two support of the Indian team were recently spotted having an intense practice session at the WACA cricket stadium in Perth.
