Your guide to iRacing’s 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event

What is the iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event?

The iRacing Sebring 12 Hours Special Event is a 12-hour team event for GTP and GT3, LMP2 and GTP.

The race takes place around the historic Sebring road course, featuring a dynamic day-to-night cycle and driver swaps. Thanks to the bumpy nature of this airfield circuit, the 12 Hours of Sebring is one of the toughest Special Events of the year.

When is the iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event?

The iRacing Sebring 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event? takes place this weekend, 27th-29th March (time zone-dependent), with four time slots available as shown below.

  • Timeslot #1 – Friday 22:00 GMT
  • Timeslot #2 – Saturday 7:00 GMT
  • Timeslot #3 – Saturday 12:00 GMT
  • Timeslot #4 – Saturday 16:00 GMT

iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event car classes

Just like the real race, which took place last weekend, the iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event will feature GTP, GT3 and LMP2 categories. 

The top GTP class includes all of the sim’s LMDh Hypercars, plus the Ferrari 499P LMH machine, with the LMP2 class limited to the Dallara P217. The GT3 class consists of all the sim’s modern GT3 cars.

A custom Balance of Performance calculation has been released ahead of the event (shown below), with the Ferrari 499P and Mercedes-AMG receiving the largest performance nerfs in the GTP and GT3 classes, respectively.

iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event entry requirements

To race in the iRacing Sebring 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event, all drivers must have a valid iRacing subscription, at least a D Road License at 4.0 or above, own the Sebring International Raceway track and at least one of the above-noted eligible cars.

  • Valid iRacing subscription
  • Track: Sebring International Raceway | International Configuration $14.95
  • D Road License 4.0
  • One of the eligible GTP/LMP2/GT3 cars – $11.95 each
  • Sim Date (Time of Day Setting): March 21, 2026
  • Session Start Time (Time of Day Setting): 9:30 AM

How to enter the iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event

The iRacing Sebring 12 Hours of Sebring Special Event will appear in the iRacing UI under the ‘Official’ section and can be joined by clicking on the ‘Register’ button once a suitable race time has been selected.
