Zhou Guanyu’s cat celebrates Christmas in custom Ferrari gear

Formula 1’s favorite feline is celebrating the holiday season in style. Zhou Guanyu, who served as a reserve driver for Scuderia Ferrari throughout the 2025 season, recently shared adorable photos of his cat, Sweetcorn, decked out in a miniature Ferrari team kit for Christmas. The custom shirt, complete with authentic sponsor logos, has quickly gone viral among fans who have followed the “cat dad” driver’s journey since his F1 debut.

The festive post serves as a heartwarming highlight in what has been a year of transition for the Chinese driver. After three seasons on the grid with Sauber, Zhou returned to the Ferrari Driver Academy roots that started his career, providing crucial support to race drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton over the past year.

However, this “Full Circle” moment in Maranello may be nearing its conclusion. With several reserve seats on the 2026 grid still to be finalized and new technical regulations on the horizon, Zhou has also expressed a strong desire to return to a full-time racing seat. As he explores potential opportunities to continue his legacy as China’s first F1 racer, fans are enjoying one last holiday season seeing the #24 star—and his iconic companion—representing the Prancing Horse.
