ZyroFisher has announced the signing of a distribution partnership with Ochain, the Italian components maker that has recently joined the SRAM family.
The new partnership will see ZyroFisher supply retailers with Ochain in the UK and Ireland as of 2026.
Ochain, known for its game-changing chainring spider that delivers a chainless feeling ride, has rapidly grown from a prototype to World Cup staple, joined the SRAM family of brands back in July, and ZyroFisher “is now delighted to announce it will be part of our premium brand portfolio too”.
Tony Vickers, Head of Brands at ZyroFisher, commented: “We are excited to welcome Ochain to the ZyroFisher brand portfolio as part of the SRAM family. Just as SRAM knew Ochain was a great fit for them, we feel the same about Ochain being the perfect partner for us, too.
Ochain were first to the party and clearly know what they are doing better than anyone else in the market. Following the successful launch of Eagle 90, New Reverb AXS in 2025 as SRAM’s only distributor located in the UK and Ireland, we are looking forward to introducing Ochain in the spring of 2026.”
Ochain, founded in 2019 by Fabrizio Dragoni, is based around “the idea to have a component that simulates the chainless feeling with the possibility to pedal”. To date, Dragoni and his team have taken Ochain through multiple product iterations.
Post SRAM acquisition, Dragoni continues to lead the brand from a new dedicated facility in Italy.
Tibor Gijssen, Director of Aftermarket Sales EMEA, comments: “Ochain delivers amazing rider benefits to every MTB rider. SRAM is excited to partner with ZyroFisher to support the UK and Ireland with Ochain components.
ZyroFisher has a strong track record in this region and has been a long-lasting partner for all SRAM innovation and service. SRAM is excited to grow Ochain in these markets and show why it complements the drivetrain for a better descending experience.”
ZyroFisher will be presenting Ochain at COREbike.
