The 2026 US Open features increased total prize money fund of $22.5 million for the third golf major of the year.
The major takes place from June 18-21 at Shinnecock Hill Golf Club in New York state, as it stages the US Open for a sixth time.
It is the first time Shinnecock has staged the major since 2018 when Brooks Koepka was crowned champion eight years ago.
This year for the 126th edition of the US Open and Shinnecock Hills takes over from Oakmont where JJ Spaun was crowned champion in 2025.
The prize purse for the 2026 edition is up $1 million to a record $22.5 million with the winner collecting a hefty $4,500,000 for first place.
