2027 NFL Draft Prospect Watchlist: Offensive Tackles

The 2026 NFL Draft is over and teams are getting comfortable with their new draft picks. The next class of players is getting prepared now for another year of college football. Each position will be analyzed in the coming days. Here is the 2027 NFL Draft prospect watchlist: Offensive Tackles.

Trevor Goosby, Texas Longhorns

Goosby was a four-star recruit in the class of 2023 who signed with Texas to stay in-state. He played in two games during the 2023 season and redshirted. In 2024, he started in two games. Goosby stepped into the starting lineup at left tackle in 2025. He was an All-SEC performer and helped the Longhorns win 10 games.

At 6-foot-7 and 325 pounds, Goosby has good size for an NFL tackle and he uses his length well. He anchors well, but also moves well to get to the second level as a run blocker and mirror pass rushers. Goosby will need to work on his ability to see where pressure is coming from and how defenses will attack him, along with moving people in the run game more. He is in play to be the first tackle selected in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Cayden Green, Missouri Tigers

Green was a four-star recruit in the class of 2023 who signed with Oklahoma out of Missouri. He started five games for Oklahoma in 2023 as he adjusted to college football. Before the 2024 season, Green transferred to Missouri. He started all 13 games for the Tigers in 2024 at left guard. His play aided the Tigers in winning 10 games. For the 2025 season, Green played left tackle for Missouri, as they won eight games. He was an All-SEC selection for his play in 2025.

He stands at 6-foot-5 and 324 pounds, which is solid for the position. Green has good play strength and anchors against pass rushers well. He has good awareness and can really move people in the run game. Green’s versatility is nice, but a move to guard may happen at the next level. He can lunge too much and lacks recovery speed. Working on his footwork will help his game, but Green looks like a solid prospect, whether that ends up being at guard or tackle.

Jordan Seaton, LSU Tigers

In the class of 2024, Seaton was a five-star recruit in the class of 2024 who signed with Colorado out of Florida. He immediately started for the Buffaloes at left tackle, helping the team win nine games as a Freshman All-American. Colorado struggled to three wins in 2025, but Seaton played well with Second Team All-Big 12 honors. He transferred to LSU prior to the 2026 season.

Seaton measures in at 6-foot-5 and 307 pounds, after dropping some weight after his transfer to LSU, but still has solid size. He is a good athlete who can mirror pass rushers well. His recovery quickness is impressive and plays with some fire. Seaton may need to build back up some of his mass with muscle and can lean and lunge at times. Cleaning up his footwork will make him more effective. Another good season can really cement Seaton as a top 10 pick.

Austin Siereveld, Ohio State Buckeyes

Siereveld was a four-star recruit in the class of 2023 who signed in-state with the Buckeyes. He redshirted in 2023 and saw limited action. Siereveld started six games in 2024, helping the Buckeyes win the national championship with his play. In 2025, Siereveld started at left tackle for the Buckeyes and helped them make another CFP with a larger and more important role.

At 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, Siereveld has solid size for the Buckeyes, but it doesn’t appear his length is the greatest. Siereveld shows good patient and stays balanced when in his pass sets. He has a good anchor and strong hands. Siereveld doesn’t have the greatest recovery quickness and can struggle to block quick rushers and blitzers on the edge. A move to the inside is in play for Siereveld with his length being an issue at tackle, but he has played well enough at tackle to get some consideration there.

Carter Smith, Indiana Hoosiers

Smith was a three-star recruit in the class of 2022 who signed with Indiana out of Ohio. He appeared in two games and redshirted in 2022. In 2023, he started at left tackle and played decently, even though the team struggled. For the 2024 season, he helped Indiana make the CFP and was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten for his play. In 2025, he led the Hoosiers to a national championship and was an All-American.

He is 6-foot-5 and 313 pounds, which is ok for the NFL level, but he can fill out his frame more. A move to the inside could come for Smith, as it doesn’t appear that he has great length and some of his strengths could translate to guard. He has average agility and can be grabby. Smith thrives with his anchor and grip strength. He moves people in the run game and sees the game well.

Other Draft Prospects

Anthony Knapp, Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Knapp has started 27 games for the Fighting Irish over the last two seasons. He was a Freshman All-American and another good season could move him up draft boards.

Trevor Lauck, Iowa Hawkeyes

Lauck is 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, so he can fill out his frame a bit more, but he had a great first season as a starter, earning Third Team All-Big Ten honors.

Jacarrius Peak, South Carolina Gamecocks

Peak started his college career at NC State and played well. He isn’t the biggest offensive tackle, at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, but has good movement skills. Peak suffered a knee injury this offseason and missed spring practice.

Niki Prongos, Stanford Cardinal

Prongos played three seasons at UCLA before transferring to Stanford last season. He started at left tackle for Stanford and has a good frame that can be added to for the next level.
