The 2026 NFL Draft is over and teams are getting comfortable with their new draft picks. The next class of players is getting prepared now for another year of college football. Each position will be analyzed in the coming days. Here is the 2027 NFL Draft prospect watchlist: Wide Receivers.
Cam Coleman, Texas Longhorns
Coleman was a five-star recruit in the class of 2025 who decided to sign with Auburn to stay in the state of Alabama. He had a solid freshman year, hauling in 37 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns. In 2025, he registered 56 catches for 708 yards and five touchdowns. Before this season, Coleman transferred to Texas to play with Arch Manning.
At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Coleman has a good frame for an NFL receiver, but will need to fill it out a bit more. He has a big catch radius and tracks the ball well in the air. His speed and size help to make him a good deep threat. Coleman will need to work on getting in and out of breaks quicker and eliminating focus drops to help raise his stock, but he is projected to be one of the top few wide receivers selected in the 2027 NFL Drarft.
Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama Crimson Tide
In the class of 2024, Coleman-Williams was a five-star recruit who signed with Alabama to stay in his home state. He had a great freshman season for the Crimson Tide, catching 48 passes for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. Coleman-Williams didn’t have consistent play in 2025, finishing the season with 49 catches for 689 yards and four touchdowns.
He will need to fill out his frame, as he is just 6-foot and 182 pounds. Coleman is a good athlete who is able to run crisp routes to create separation. He is good at running after the catch and creating big plays in that way. In 2025, he didn’t look comfortable going over the middle and had some focus drops. A return to his 2024 form should see his stock soar back up.
Nick Marsh, Indiana Hoosiers
Marsh was a four-star recruit in the class of 2024 who originally signed with Michigan State to stay in-state. In his first season with the Spartans, he had 41 catches for 649 yards and three touchdowns. His production improved in 2025, as he had 59 catches for 662 yards and six touchdowns. Following the season, Marsh decided to transfer from Michigan State to Indiana.
At 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds, he has quality size for the position. He has solid speed and uses it well before and after the catch to create. Marsh is a deep threat, but also isn’t afraid to go over the middle. Marsh has some focus drops and isn’t the most elusive with the ball in his hands. He didn’t have elite production at Michigan State, but will have that chance now at Indiana.
Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State Buckeyes
Smith was a five-star recruit in the class of 2025 who joined Ohio State from the state of Florida. He was immediately one of the best players in college football, with 76 receptions for 1,315 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Smith helped Ohio State win the national championship that season. In 2025, Smith caught 87 passes for 1,243 yards and 12 touchdowns. Ohio State made the CFP again with Smith’s help, but could not get past Miami.
He has outstanding size at 6-foot-3 and 223 pounds, which he uses to his advantage with his huge catch radius. Smith is a solid route runner and can be tough to tackle after the catch. He will need to show more effort as a blocker and does have some focus drops, but there aren’t many weaknesses to his game.
Other Draft Prospects
Charlie Becker, Indiana Hoosiers
Becker really showed up down the stretch for Indiana on their national championship run. He is a deep threat with the ability to win down the field, but can have trouble separating underneath.
Mario Craver, Texas A&M Aggies
Last season, Craver paired with KC Concepcion, but now he will be the go-to guy for the Aggies. While he doesn’t have the greatest size, his acceleration and speed really stand out on tape.
Nyck Harbor, South Carolina Gamecocks
Harbor was much improved in 2025, but still has a long way to go in his development. He has great size and speed, but can struggle with his route-running and the nuances of the wide receiver position.
Omarion Miller, Arizona State Sun Devils
Miller played well for Colorado as a deep threat who could also run after the catch a bit. He’ll have to work on expanding his route tree and fixing some drops at Arizona State.
TJ Moore, Clemson Tigers
Moore uses his size well and can pick up yards after the catch. For Clemson to improve, Moore will have to make more contested catches and limit his fumbles.
Eric Singleton, Florida Gators
Singleton has bounced around from Georgia Tech to Auburn and now to Florida. He is a deep threat who also runs routes well to create separation. Singleton is a smaller player who will need to add strength to his frame and could be a slot only player at the next level.
Ryan Wingo, Texas Longhorns
Wingo is a bigger receiver who also has nice speed, which he uses after the catch well. He needs to get out of his breaks quicker and eliminate his drops this season to really give Texas a great pair of receivers.
