The Indian Wells Masters will once again begin with the Eisenhower Cup, an eight-team mixed doubles event. It will take place on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:00 pm PT in Stadium 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

From the tournament website:

“The Eisenhower Cup is a fan-favorite Indian Wells tradition and the official kickoff exhibition event on the eve of main draw play at the BNP Paribas Open.

“Held under the lights in Stadium 2, this one-night Tie Break Tens mixed doubles showcase delivers fast-paced, high-energy, winner-take-all tennis, as eight elite ATP and WTA teams compete for a $200k prize purse.”

The eight pairings were announced on Tuesday:

Elena Rybakina and Taylor Fritz
Amanda Anisimova and Andrey Rublev
Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud
Jessica Pegula and Tommy Paul
Emma Navarro and Ben Shelton
Leylah Fernandez and Felix Auger-Aliassime
Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev
Jasmine Paolini and Matteo Berrettini

Rybakina and Fritz are the defending champions. Fritz also triumphed in 2023 with Aryna Sabalenka. Navarro and Shelton won the event in 2024, beating Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final.

Main-draw action at the BNP Paribas Open will get underway on Wednesday, March 4.
