In Division III basketball, “March Madness” starts in mid-February. There are 43 automatic qualifying bids (AQs) into the 64-team NCAA Division III women’s basketball tournament and 42 of those AQs are awarded to conference tournament winners. The UAA is the lone conference that awards its AQ to its regular season champion.

Conference playoffs start with first-round games as early as February 18 and then run through the last championship games on Sunday, March 1.

You can also follow all the men’s conference tournaments here.
