Forward Margot Sire was awarded her debut cap ahead of this afternoon’s opening game for Great Britain at the Women’s World Championship Division I Group B in Spain.
Sire is the 154th player to ice for GB Women and was presented with her cap in a special pre-game ceremony by Assistant Coach Dave Clancy.
The 19-year-old plays domestically for Elite League side Guildford Lightning and previously had a stint playing in North America.
GB get under way today at 13:00 (12:00 BST) against Korea, before facing Spain, Latvia, Netherlands and Kazakhstan in the six-team tournament.
