NHL Injuries: Avs, Stars, Oilers, Kings, Predators, Sens, Lightning, Jets, and More

Adam Kimelman: Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jalen Chatfield returned to the lineup after missing the past two games with a lower-body injury.

Eric Francis: Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri is travelling with the team, but won’t play against the Flames tonight.

Gerry Moddejonge: Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson missed last night’s game after leaving Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury.

Robert Tiffin: The Dallas Stars activated forward Radek Faksa from the IR.

Ryan Rishaug: Edmonton Oilers coach said Kris Knoblauch said that forward Zach Hyman wasn’t able to go last night, but he might be ready for Thursday. Forward Leon Draisaitl is expected to be ready to return sometime in round one. Forward Max Jones is out for three to four weeks. Forward Jason Dickinson won’t play in their last regular season and he’ll be re-evaluated then.

NHL Rumors: Will the New Jersey Devils Trade Dougie Hamilton This Offseason?

Mark Spector of Sportsnet: Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl (knee) likely isn’t going to be ready for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs, but he may not be far off that.

“We’ll see,” the coy German said on Monday morning. “There are steps I have to follow and certain things I have to be able to do. I’m not there yet right now. We’ll see how that is by the end of the week or whenever Game 1 would be.”

Coach Knoblauch said that ideally, after some more skates and rehabs, he’d be ready for Game 1, but if it’s not until later, they’ll just deal with it.

Zach Dooley: Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Malott will miss their remaining regular-season games. Forward Alex Turcotte is getting “real close” to returning, according to coach D.J. Smith.

Robby Stanley: Nashville Predators defenseman Nicolas Hague missed his fifth consecutive game with an upper-body injury.

Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen: Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk will likely miss their remaining regular-season games, but is expected to be ready for the start of the playoffs. He left Saturday’s game as he “wasn’t feeling well.” A source said that whatever it is, it isn’t deemed serious.

Seattle Kraken PR: Forward Jared McCann will miss the remainder of the season with a lower-body injury.

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel and defenseman Darren Raddysh missed last night’s game with undisclosed injuries. Hagel returned on Saturday from a lower-body injury.

NHL Rumors: New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Washington Capitals

Winnipeg Jets PR: The Winnipeg Jets activated defenseman Colin Miller from the IR.

Mitchell Clinton: Jets coach Scott Arniel on forwards Alex Iafallo and Vladislav Namestnikov, and defenseman Neal Pionk:

“All three of those guys, a couple of them were banged up two games ago. Last game, Vladdy was the one that got hurt. They were playing with some injuries and were trying to get through it. We’re at a stage right now where, it’s not because of where we’re at and lost the other night, these guys have been trying to put everything on the line to play. Right not, they’re not even at 50 or 60 percent. That’s why we had to make a move and bring in some other guys, some fresh legs, and hopefully that gives us  little bit of a spark.”
