CJ Perry Shuts Down Claims Liv Morgan Partied Too Hard at Coachella

CJ Perry is shutting down claims that Liv Morgan partied too hard at Coachella—and she’s making it clear those bruises under her eyes have nothing to do with the festival.

After WWE stars showed up at Coachella 2026, Liv Morgan became a talking point online, with some fans pointing to the bruising under her eyes on Raw this week and assuming it came from partying. Now, speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Perry directly addressed those claims and explained what really happened. She started by revealing that she saw Morgan in person right before the festival and immediately noticed the damage.

“She’s recovering every single day. I remember when I saw her in person Thursday night when we got to Coachella—I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ The bruises under her eyes just seemed a lot more intense.”

Perry then addressed the online speculation directly, pointing out how quickly people jumped to the wrong conclusion after Morgan’s recent RAW segment involving Stephanie Vaquer.

“It’s funny because I saw on the internet, after she lost her cookies on Monday with Stephanie Vaquer, I saw a lot of people being like, ‘Oh my God, look at her dark circles from her Coachella weekend because she partied too hard.’”

She made it clear that narrative couldn’t be further from the truth, even revealing that neither of them were partying at all. Finally, Perry explained the real cause of the bruising, tying it directly to in-ring action rather than anything outside of wrestling.

“We don’t drink—neither one of us drinks. We were going to the gym every day. Those dark circles are from her being a professional wrestler and fighting—and basically Vaquer hitting her hard. That’s pro wrestling for you.”

Bottom line: what people thought was a party aftermath was actually just the cost of doing the job. Liv Morgan showed up to Coachella bruised because of what happened in the ring—not because of anything that happened at the festival.

Do you think fans jumped to conclusions too quickly about Liv Morgan, or is this kind of speculation unavoidable when wrestlers appear outside WWE? Let us know your thoughts.
