Steel framebuilding doesn’t have many outposts in South Asia, but Posst Scolarian Works has been quietly operating out of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India since 2015 and the brand’s Object frameset is worth the attention…

Built around a Columbus HSS Spirit and Zona tube selection, the Object by Posst Scolarian Works is designed for long-distance endurance riding and randonneuring.

The front triangle runs a Bioval top tube and D-shaped down tube, tube profiles were chosen deliberately to put stiffness exactly where pedaling demands it while keeping the vertical compliance that makes steel genuinely pleasant over long hours.

It pairs with a carbon fork, tuned to complement the ride. It has 32 mm tire clearance and mounts for a top tube and rear racks.

Every eyelet is stainless steel, silver-brazed onto the frame, a choice made specifically to prevent rust developing at bottle cage junctions. The frame is ED-coated internally before paint. The paint itself is GLASURIT automotive grade, finished with a hand-polished clear coat. The frame now also ships with UDH dropouts as standard.

Custom geometry is available alongside standard sizing. The Object ships as a frameset and is available now for international orders.
