Video: TNA Rebellion 2026 Recap

Show started off with highlights of last Saturday’s Rebellion pay-per-view. Notably, they skipped over Alisha’s heel turn in the recap of the main event.

AJ Francis vs. KC Navarro

I can barely hear the entrance music for either guy. It seems like
TNA is always having sound issues. Hannifan marveled at the recovery of
Navarro, getting cleared to compete three months ahead of schedule.
Navarro can only avoid Francis for so long before he grabs him for a
choke slam, but Navarro countered that with a rana. Navarro low-bridged
Francis to send him to the floor, but when he went for a dive, Francis
caught him hanging in the ropes, then drilled him face-first into the
ring apron. Francis followed that up by lawn-darting Navarro into the
ring post. 

Back in the ring, Francis whipped Navarro into the buckles and he
ricocheted to the mat. Navarro went for a dive, but Francis caught him.
Navarro escaped and tried to go for an Olympic Slam… which, considering
the size difference goes about as well as you’d expect.  Francis kept
tossing Navarro around the ring, then drove his knee into him with so
much momentum he flipped over the top rope and landed on the floor (this
is called “Tennessee Whiskey”). 

Navarro finally mounted some offense with a jaw breaker and a
dropkick.  Navarro tried to whip him out of the corner, but Francis
easily blocked that. Francis tried for an Oklahoma Stampede, but Navarro
countered that into a spinning DDT. Navarro tried some running
dropkicks in the corner. Navarro then managed to get Francis standing on
the middle ropes, and actually managed to hit the Olympic Slam from the
middle ropes for a near fall. 

Navarro struggle to  get to the top rope, and immediately eats a
spear from Francis. Francis looked over at Nic Nemeth, setting up
Navarro for the chokeslam. Francis got Navarro up, but Navarro reversed
that into a cradle and then got the shock pinfall. 

Winner: KC Navarro via Pinfall.

Rehwoldt tried to argue on commentary that Nemeth was distracting
Francis on the finish. I dont know about that. Also, I think it might be
time to just give Francis a monster push and have beat guys into
pudding on his way to a major championship. 

Backstage: EC3

EC3 said this isn’t a comeback, it’s a crusade. And it starts with Eric Young. 

In-Ring: The System, Leon Slater, Moose, Daria Rae

Well, you can if you’re Leon Slater, or Mike Santana, or Moose. Those
three have all beaten The System recently. The System came out to gloat
about going 1-2 at Rebellion on Saturday, and bringing Alisha Edwards
back into the crowd. Brian Myers commented on the reaction (or maybe
lack thereof?). Myers gloated about beating a pair of 50-somethings who
were beat up in a table match a few days (or weeks) earlier. 

Edwards took the mic and blamed his loss on Moose. Alisha grabbed the
mic. “Do you wanna know something?” Crowd: “No!” Alisha bragged about
how  the System played Moose like a fool. Um, he saw right through your
plan dude. Alexander grabbed the mic and shouted about Slater cheating
to beat him by using the title belt Alexander brought into the ring (he
didn’t really), and Alexander claimed he’s owed a title shot. 

This brought out Leon Slater, to ask Alexander to shut up. Slater
threatened to slap fools, and made fun of Alexander’s “boo boo face.”
Slater is on the verge of becoming the longest reigning X-Divsion
champion of all time. Edwards responded that that won’t happen because
he’s just like Moose. Of course, this brings out Moose to call The
System “b!tches.” 

Slater’s had enough of all the talking (so have I) and challenged
Edwards and Alexander to tag match against him  and Moose. Daria Rae
came out, said “Shut Up I’m Talking!” and shot down that match. So
Slater insulted her (by saying Santino was a better authority figure).
So she did make a match: Slater & Moose against The Entire System. 

Backstage: Daria Rae, Elijah, Frankie Kazarian

Elijah demanded a rematch with Frankie Kazarian from Daria Rae. Rae called Frankie Kazarian to set it up. Of course, Frankie said no. Daria is such a one not character. 

Tasha Steelz vs. Jada Stone

Ali cut a promo before the match about how all the champions in TNA
were losers who needed second chances. Ali doesn’t need a second chance;
he gives second chances! Ali announced the “TNA International
Championship Open Challenge” to any TNA wrestler or independent wrestler
from around the world. 

There were a couple of awkward spots early on. Steelz and Stone
flubbed a head scissors attempt, then Steelz very awkwardly escaped a
bulldog. When they went to the floor, Stone came off the apron going for
a rana, and Steelz and Stone kind of felled down (on commentary they
called it a powerbomb… but it wasn’t really). 

After a long commercial, Steelz got a near fall after a DDT.  Stone
got a near fall with a jackknife cover. Steelz locked on a chinlock.
Stone fought her way and Steelz pulled her down by the hair. Steelz
stomped Stone in the corner and choked her with her boot. Stone finally
fought back with forearms and series of clotheslines. Stone took Steelz
down with a slingblade, then caught her with an enziguri. Stone caught
Steelz with meteroa off the middle rope. Stone hit the split-legged
moonsault, but it only got two. Steelz came back with a hangman’s
neckbreaker for two. 

Stone ran into an elbow from Steelz. Steelz did this awkward
handspring over the ropes and over Stone’s back. Steelz caught Stone
with a German suplex. Stone came back with a DDT off of the ropes. 

Both women look pretty winded now. Stone hit a Northern Lights
suplex, then followed up with face-first suplex. She tried to go to the
ropes again, but Ali distracted her, and Steelz yanked Stone off the
middle ropes into a cutter for a near fall. Steelz tossed Stone out of
the ring. Order 4 surrounded Stone on  the floor, but before they could
do anything the referee dropped down and threw them out of the arena. 

Back in the ring, Stone hit a “Spark Stunner,” an Oscutter with an extra handspring thrown in (which actually made the move feel pretty disjointed, and also Steelz wasn’t quite in position either and had to step into it), and got the victory. 

Winner: Jada Stone via Pinfall.

Video: Victoria Crawford, Rosemary, Joseph Park, Tessa Blanchard

Victoria Crawford was shown running around this thing, which has
basically become a crappy haunted house. Rosemary found Joseph Park who
let her know the divroce has been handled. And he leaf, headed “up
north,” Wink, wink, nudge nudge.

Here’s a random belly dancer with red eyes.

Tessa Blanchard asked a voodoo witch how to get out of this place,
and wound up brawling with her while the person in the blood-covered
Bunny sat in a pew.

I feel like Santino’s best argument for getting his job back is that half the Knockouts roster has been kidnapped by witches and demons or whatever else is in the Undead Realm.

Backstage: Nic Nemeth, KC Navarro, Ryan Nemeth, The System

Ryan Nemeth is jealous of the attention Nic Nemeth  was giving KC Navarro. The System cam back to make fun of them, and his lead to a challenge from Bear Bronson to Nic Nemeth.

Is this the beginning to Ryan v. Nic? 

In-Ring: Mike Santana, Rich Swann

Santana entered through the crowd in a Yankees Jersey. Rebellion went
exactly how he thought it would. Santana noted he’s put down every
former world champion that’s been put in front of him, and decided it’s
time to hand out some opportunities. Santana called out “Mr All Night
Long” Rich Swann. 

And hey, say his name and he appears, Rich Swann came out to give
Santana his props as well, saying he went to the top of the industry as
TNA World Champion. Swann thinks if he steps in the ring against
Santana, they may be talking about the match for “weeks,” “months” and
maybe even “years.” Swann will fight Santana “all night long” if
necessary. Santana called out Daria Rae to make the match for next
week. 

Shockingly, Daria Rae did not come out to shut down the match. So maybe we have a main event for next week. 

Video: Injury Report

The TNA Injury Report. 

  • Trey Miguel is OUT with a severe laceration.
  • The Hardys are also OUT with “significant wear and tear.” Feels like that could be their diagnosis every week. 
  • Indi Hardwell has been CLEARED but is suspended for shoving Daria Rae last week. 
  • EC3 has been evaluated and cleared for his return against Eric Young.

Lei Ying Li didn’t even know what wrestling was when she came to America. And she trained with Xia Bookside and became best friends with her. And then everything changed on Saturday. Li doesn’t understand why she’s lost her title and her best friend. 

Backstage: Xia Brookside

Cut to Xia Brookside, stone faced in the back. Gia Miller wanted to know why? Brookside left. 

EC3 vs. Eric Young

Young jumped EC3 during his entrance and the brawl was on. They got
in the ring and Young clawed at his face, then put him in a chinlock.
EC3 broke free and hit a Thesz Press. EC3 went for a side headlock as
his big offensive move. 

Then it got worse. 

EC3 was supposedly “blinded” by and eye poke. He went to clothesline
Young out of the ring, but the ref was supposed to get in the way and
wind up getting clotheslined out instead, or maybe as well? But whatever
was supposed to happen didn’t. Nobody went over the top rope, so then
EC3 backed up AND TRIED IT AGAIN, literally just pulling the ref and
tossing him out and using the ref’s body to push out EC3 at the same
time. Meanwhile,  while Hannifan was on commentary raving about how EC3
“couldn’t see what he was doing” and this it was an accident. A second
ref come out and throws the match out. 

Winner: None.

After the match, EC3 tried to kill Young with a chair, which wound up
around his head. Despite a gaggle of security geeks, Young tossed EC3
into the steps with the chair around his head. The best visual though
was the original referee, either covering his head to sell the injuries
or keep from having to watch the rest of this play out.

They have a live crowd in an arena right now, but it’s time for more vignettes from Rosemary’s haunted house. 

Someone named “Frank” has an axe, a Scarecrow mask (maybe), and they
made a joke about the Catalina Wine Mixer because Step Brothers is a hot
movie in 2026. 

The belly dancer (I think) walked through Mara Sadé and Allie, and
Victoria Crawford was there as well. Also “Shudder” is on a screen in
the background, and if this is a cross promotion for that these are
still the worse idea ever. 

Tessa Blanchard found Rosemary, who wouldn’t tell Blanchard the way
out. So they brawled, and she tired Rosemary to a chair with a chain. 

More of the belly dancer. I thought that might be Mila Moore, but then Blanchard found Moore and Crawford. 

Allie and Sadé found Rosemary and untied her. “That’s my friend!”
screamed Allie, who went after Blanchard. But Rosemary had managed to
grab some of Blanchard’s hair, which made her laugh. 

Blanchard’s crew found James Mitchell, who showed Tessa’s crew “the
door” and they left.  And the belly dancer found James Mitchell, and
they went off. 

Ringside: The Diamond Collective, Rosemary, Mara Sade, Allie

This lead us back to the now darkened arena… Blanchard’s crew clawed
up from under the ring, which was smoking. Rosemary and Sadé came
through the entrance and the brawl was on. 

This is getting less than zero reaction from the crowd. 

Blanchard’s crew disposed of Sadé and surrounded Rosemary in the
ring, but the lights went out again. And weird footage played on the
Sliva Screen before Allie’s name appeared. And Allie, who is supposed to
be dead, returned and chased off Blanchard’s crew. Hannfian and
Rewholdt were surprised that Allie is back, despite the five weeks of
videos featuring her. 

Backstage: The Hardys

The Hardy cut a promo in a parking garage, with Matt promising that it was soon “Broken Season.” 

Four-on-Two Handicap Match
The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, & Cedric Alexander) vs. Moose & Leon Slater

This is 4 on 2 to hammer home that Daria Rae is an evil authority figure who does mean things to the faces. 

Moose played football in Syracuse, and I swear it seems like every
town TNA shows up in either he or Francis played football there.

Slater and Alexander started the match. Moose soon got the tag and
mauled Alexander with a headbutt. Moose hit the uranage and the senton,
then kipped up. Moose is a graduate of Syracuse University, so he’s a
favorite with the crowd. 

Bear Bronson tried to attack Moose, but he got dumped to the floor
and hit a tope. Myers charged at Moose on the floor, but Moose ducked
and Myers speared Alexander. Alexander tried for a dive, and Moose
blocked that and tossed Alexander into the rest of the System. Slater
then hit his flip dive over the ringpost onto the System. 

Back in the ring, Moose hit Alexander with a spear, but Edwards
blindsided Moose with the Boston Knee Party. This gave The System the
edge, and Bronson tagged in and did nothing. Bronson blocked a sunset
flip attempt by sitting on Moose’s chest. Edwards got the tag, and Moose
overpowered him in the corner, but Moose missed a charge in the
corner. 

Moose got the hot tag to Slater, and he ran wild on Myers and
Edwards. Slater caught Edwards with a leg lariat. Slater caught Bronson
and Myers with a handspring back elbow. Slater hit a crossbody on
Edwards for a near fall. Edwards thumbed Slater in the eye, and Bronson
hit an avalanche. Myers hit a blue thunder bomb, and Alexander hit a
frog splash off the top, but Moose broke up the cover. The fight went to
the floor, and Moose hit a ringside security guard with a boot intended
for Edwards. Edwards and Moose knocked each other out on the floor. 

Slater took on the rest of the System 3 on 1. He held out for about
30 seconds, but then Alexander reversed a bulldog attempt into the
Lumbar Check, and Alexander got the victory. 

Winner: The System via Pinfall.

After the match, Hannifin and Rehwoldt narrated a package of highlights from tonight’s show.
