Manchester United took a huge step towards securing qualification for the Champions League as they beat rivals Chelsea 1-0 on Saturday evening.
Matheus Cunha netted the only goal of the game as Michael Carrick’s side battled to a hugely important victory, leaving the Red Devils third in the Premier League table.
With just five games remaining, United now look very likely to finish in the top five and qualify for Europe’s top club competition next term, while Chelsea languish in sixth place and could miss out.
Next up for United is a game against Brentford at Old Trafford on April 27, but in the meantime it has emerged that a Turkish side are eyeing an audacious move to sign one of the Red Devils’ biggest stars.
As per Turkish outlet Takvim, via TEAMtalk, Super Lig giants Galatasaray are plotting a sensational move to sign Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes this summer.
The report claims that Galatasaray – who sit top of the Turkish Super Lig standings – will make a move to lure Fernandes to Istanbul if club president Dursun Ozbek is re-elected in May.

Fernandes has established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League since joining United from Sporting CP back in 2020.
The Portuguese has scored 106 goals and registered 105 assists in 322 games for the Manchester side across all competitions, including a combined 27 goals and assists so far this term.
The report suggests that Galatasaray have previously failed in their attempts to sign Fernandes, but they are now set to reignite their interest in the 31-year-old and make contact about a potential deal.
Fernandes’ contract with the Red Devils is set to expire at the end of next season, but it appears that the Turkish giants will attempt to lure him away from Manchester during the upcoming transfer window.
