This entire WrestleMania season was pretty controversial, including the Hall of Fame. While long-beloved Superstars got their rightful inductions, like AJ Styles and Demolition, others left a sour taste in some people’s mouths. In fact, Stephanie McMahon even addressed the elephant in the room while thanking her brother Shane McMahon and declaring her love for her sister-in-law and nephews. Nonetheless, Bad News Brown and Sycho Sid had rightful WWE Hall of Fame inductions in the Legacy Wing of the 2026 Class. With WrestleMania in the past, Sycho Sid Vicious’ family speaks out about the treatment of the 2-time WWE Champion.
Sycho Sid Vicious’ Family and Neighbor Attend 2026 Hall of Fame
4-time World Champion Sycho Sid Vicious joined Bad News Brown as the posthumous inductees into the 2026 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame. Both men had family and friends flown into Las Vegas to attend the official ceremony at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Friday night.
The Master and Ruler of the World passed away on August 26, 2025, following a long battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. However, his legacy in the pro wrestling industry still lives on today, especially now that he’s been recognized by the WWE Hall of Fame. Unless, of course, you ask his friends and family.
Sycho Sid Vicious’ family and long-time neighbor were on hand to memorialize the giant. The night started swiftly as Frank and Gunnar Eudy, Sid’s surviving sons, walked the red carpet, along with Frank’s children. In addition, Sid’s long-time neighbor, Seth, was present in memorable cowboy duds.
While everyone looked happy in pictures with Triple H, the joy ended shortly after. Gunnar Eudy took a moment to thank Sid’s fans and long-time friends. However, he also used his platform to share his displeasure with how WWE handled the Legacy Wing inductees.
Gunnar Eudy Speaks Out of Sycho Sid’s Hall of Fame Disrespect
It’s not uncommon for this year’s Hall of Fame class to speak out against the WWE regime. After all, AJ Styles’ son went in on Triple H before his father even retired.
That said, Gunnar Eudy took to Facebook to express his disappointment in the weekend festivities. The son of Sid noted that there was no merchandise for his father. However, there was plenty of memorabilia featuring Dennis Rodman.
Sid’s surviving son wrote:
“Last night’s so-called “Hall of Fame induction” for my father, Sid Eudy “Sycho Sid” “Sid Vicious” was straight up disappointing and disrespectful as hell. I’m glad my dad was big enough to put himself over even in death, because WWE damn sure wouldn’t.
I didn’t see one single ad for him here in Vegas. The Hall of Fame gift shop had zero merch for my dad not a damn thing, But they were loaded with all the Dennis Rodman crap you could want. It felt like they just swept him under the rug like a footnote, rushing to get him out of the way.
Maybe if we had waited another 20 years until all those jealous, insecure ex-colleagues were gone you know the ones who could never match his athletic ability, his looks, or his unbreakable will power to tell them “no” he would’ve finally gotten the full induction he actually deserved.”
Sycho Sid and Bad News Brown had a joint video to honor their careers in a video package. Nobody who was present for the Hall of Famers took the stage to say any words or to feel the audience’s respect.
Instead, their legacies were sandwiched between the inductions of AJ Styles and Stephanie McMahon. Meanwhile, Nick Hogan, Jimmy Hart, and Robin Christensen‑Roussimoff were able to say a few words about Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, both of whom were posthumously inducted for their WrestleMania III match.
While Gunnar expressed his disappointment, he continued to partake in festivities. The Hall of Famer’s son posted footage behind the scenes and in the crowd at WrestleMania. Plus, Sycho Sid Vicious’ family and friends were also included in the roll call for the Hall of Fame class on WrestleMania 42 Saturday.
Who Is Seth, Sid’s Neighbor?
Perhaps the talk of the Hall of Fame was Seth, the former neighbor of Sycho Sid Vicious. Seth is a little person with Down’s Syndrome who was decked out in a black-and-white cowboy outfit.
Long-time WCW fans might remember Seth as a child on an episode of Nitro. In December 1999, Seth accompanied Sid down the aisle for his match against Dr. Death Steve Williams. The Master and Ruler of the World noted that he needed a coach to offset Dr. Death’s manager, Oklahoma.
While Gunnar was upset with how Sid was treated, WrestleMania weekend was a dream come true for Seth. Seth noted that he was very happy to see the package for Sid during the Hall of Fame ceremony.
