WWE NXT star Tatum Paxley recently reacted to AJ Lee saying that she wants to adopt her, resulting in a cute interaction between the pair.
While speaking on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Paxley was asked about Lee’s comments. Recently on social media, Lee replied to a photo of Paxley posing with the NXT Women’s North American Championship, and asked the star if she could adopt her. While Paxley did also reply on X, she did in the interview as well, and reflected on how special it was to be noticed by her.
“I don’t really read my notifications much, especially for Twitter because Twitter, in my opinion, is one of the more toxic apps that we have,” said Paxley. “So I get on Twitter this morning and I’m just scrolling the timeline and I see one of the posts saying AJ Lee wants to adopt Tatum Paxley. And I went, ‘what? I ran to her page and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m so glad I just saw this.’ So I had to see another account post it for me to see it. I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ It was an amazing way to wake up this morning.”
Paxley went on to talk about her relationship with Lee, who she reveals she just met while at WrestleMania weekend, but is extremely happy to have the chance to know and be recognized by.
“So I met her for the first time during [WrestleMania] Week,” Paxley said. “And I remember I saw her and Punk walking up and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is my first time meeting you.’ I’m hugging her and she was just like, so, incredibly kind and so incredibly sweet. And, you know, I just love that we get to have like vets like that here.
“I’m so thankful that she’s back and she’s doing amazing. And, you know, to get recognized, noticed by her, it means the world. It just reminds me, okay, I’m, doing my job. I’m doing good.”
