Braun Strowman looked back on his feud with Roman Reigns and made it clear he believes it belongs at the very top. Speaking on the Rewind Recap Relive podcast, Strowman didn’t just praise the rivalry—he outright claimed it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with any feud in wrestling history, and maybe even better.
“I’ll put the feud I had with Roman Reigns through ’17, ’18, ’19 into ’20 up against any feud in the history of the business, and I’m going to say it’s as good or f***** better. And that’s whatever—you could be biased, but that’s my opinion. And opinions are like a**holes—everybody’s got them, and some of them stink.”
He didn’t stop there. Strowman went deeper into what made the rivalry stand out, pointing to the extreme, almost over-the-top level of destruction both men put each other through during that run. From ambulance spots to repeated high-impact attacks, he made it clear this wasn’t just another program; it was chaos every time they crossed paths.
“Roman—the ambulance and all that—yeah, he crushed me in the ambulance, I flipped him over in the ambulance. I think we’ve literally pretty much committed murder on each other at least three times apiece throughout that feud. So many times.”
Strowman isn’t just reminiscing—he’s making a statement about where that feud ranks in the bigger picture of wrestling history. And whether people agree or not, it’s hard to ignore just how far those two pushed things during that run.
