May Is National Tennis Month
– Florida Tennis

Get ready to serve up some fun because May is National Tennis Month. Whether you are a coach ready to host the action or a player—new, experienced, or returning—ready to hit the court, it’s time to get moving. This nationwide celebration of the game brings people together on courts across the country, from organized events to casual hits with friends, making every moment on court count.

As part of the celebration, the USTA is giving fans the opportunity to experience the 2026 US Open in a unique way. Participants can enter for a chance to win a VIP trip, including a pair of tickets to the FAGE Suite, along with round-trip flights, hotel accommodations, and additional perks. Official sweepstakes rules apply.

Throughout the month, a wide range of tennis activities are available, including demos, group classes, and “bring a friend” sessions. These USTA events are designed to help players try something new, stay active, and connect with others, whether they are picking up a racquet for the first time or returning to the game.

Red Ball Tennis also plays a key role in introducing new players to the sport. Designed to be accessible and engaging, it offers a simple and enjoyable way to learn the game in a relaxed, social environment. With its low-pressure format, Red Ball Tennis makes it easy for anyone to get started, build confidence, and develop a lasting connection to the sport.

Also be sure to check out “Hit to be Fit” events as well in the month of May. These activities are perfect for trying something new, staying active with friends, or rekindling your love for the game. No matter your skill level, there’s an event for you to enjoy and connect with others.

From first-time players to lifelong enthusiasts, National Tennis Month is a reminder that tennis is for everyone—and that there’s no better time to get out and play.
