Gunn Club Makes Long-Awaited Return During 5/2 AEW Collision

AEW Collision on Saturday, May 2, 2026, went down at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria. That was a fun episode, and it also included a pretty shocking return to the AEW landscape.

The Gunn Club are back, and it happened on AEW Collision this week. Austin and Colten Gunn made their return after being away for a long stretch, and the timing set up a big moment on the show.

Austin and Colten are the sons of Billy Gunn, and they had been off AEW programming after a short return in early 2025. The team had been dealing with injuries that kept them out longer than expected.

Things started to go off track after a title match loss to The Hurt Syndicate in February 2025. Later that year, Colten suffered a knee injury in July that shut things down for the team. Austin had also been out with an injury in late 2024.

That all changed during this week’s episode of AEW Collision. The return took place after a match between Bang Bang Gang, Juice Robinson and Ace Austin, and The Death Riders.

After the match, Jon Moxley and the Death Riders kept going and tried to break down their opponents. That’s when the Gunn Club’s music hit and Austin and Colten ran to the ring to make the save.

The crowd reacted right away as the team stood tall and made it clear they are back. It was a strong return spot, and fans were into it from the start.
