Will Ospreay and United Empire Win NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Titles at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku

United Empire walked into Wrestling Dontaku and walked out with gold — as Great-O-Khan, HENARE, and Will Ospreay defeated Bishamon to win the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships on Night Two of the event.

From the opening moments, United Empire set the tone. HENARE and Great-O-Khan isolated YOSHI-HASHI early, forcing Hirooki Goto to step in and try to stabilize things. Oleg Boltin followed, but Ospreay quickly turned the tide, making sure the challengers kept control.

The match didn’t stay contained for long. Boltin and HENARE faced off in a power exchange, with Boltin landing his signature Boltin Shake before HENARE answered with a heavy senton. Ospreay then raised the intensity, launching himself over the ropes and crashing into Boltin and YOSHI-HASHI against the guardrails.

Back in the ring, Goto absorbed stiff offense — including Kawada Kicks from Ospreay — before firing back with elbows. HENARE cut him off with a spinebuster, and Ospreay followed with a 450 Splash that nearly sealed the win.

But Bishamon wasn’t done yet. Boltin intercepted an Oscutter and turned it into a Kamikaze, giving his team a chance to rally. The match broke down into chaos again, with bodies flying into barricades and momentum swinging both ways.

In the end, United Empire executed perfectly. Great-O-Khan and HENARE set YOSHI-HASHI up, lifting him into position for Ospreay to land a brutal Hidden Blade. Khan followed immediately with the Iron Claw, pinning YOSHI-HASHI to secure the victory and so they were crowned new champions.

Right now, United Empire now holds the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles, continuing their dominance and adding another major win to their résumé.

Do you think United Empire will dominate the division with these titles, or is a quick rematch with Bishamon the next move? Let us know your thoughts.
