Post-Apocalyptic RTS Series Krush Kill ‘N Destroy

Publisher Ziggurat Entertainment has announced that post-apocalyptic real-time strategy games Krush Kill ‘N Destroy Xtreme and Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire will receive updates this June, adding online PvP multiplayer alongside a few other goodies. As a result, price increase for both titles has also been confirmed.

Arriving almost two decades after the Krush Kill ‘N Destroy series made its debut, the June 2026 updates are developed in collaboration with a team led by modder Andre “IceReaper” Mohren.

Aside from online PvP multiplayer, the updates bring additional display resolutions, various balance changes, improved mod support, as well as a series of bug fixes for both Krush Kill ‘N Destroy Xtreme and Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire .

Although they will go live in June 2026, an opt-in open beta is slated to become available later this month, allowing interested players to test the additions and provide feedback.

Both Krush Kill ‘N Destroy updates will be free for existing owners of the game, but publisher Ziggurat Interactive has confirmed that, as soon as the open beta goes live, the price of the classic real-time strategy games will increase from $6.99 to $9.99.

Here is the list of changes coming to the two KKND titles with their June 2026 updates, as shared by the publisher in an emailed press release.

  • Online multiplayer support on modern systems through Steam first with GOG Galaxy support and Steam/GOG crossplay to follow at a later date.
  • Support for additional playable resolutions up to 4K
