Project Seed Pokemon MMO Multiple Regions and More!

According to Light, Project Seed is, in fact, still in development even after the Terra Leak in 2025. The Pokemon MMO will feature at least 5 different regions for players to explore. Those following regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh & Kitakami. All of these regions will be interconnected and will share the same world. This confirms that multi-region is present in the title if accurate.

Pokemon MMO Release Date

As mentioned, the game is confirmed to be in its development stage. To be more specific, it appears to be in its pre-production phase. Game Freak first pushed the boundaries of Pokemon with the introduction of an open-world concept with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It then went towards the direction of an active combat system introduced in Pokemon Legends Arceus. With a new MMO direction, Project Seed is going to take some considerable time to cook, reportedly set to release in 2029 or 2030.
